You should be ashamed to be called and anniversary inn !My husband was so excited to book with you for are 10 year anniversary! Do not stay here it's not safe or clean. They have a sign up in the parking lot saying not responsible for damage of vehicle or content of stuff in vehicle. When your staying at a hotel you should need to be worried about your vehicle or stuffs safety. They don't have any sort of TV, of course they don't put that in the hotel description. You half to go down stairs and barrow dvds .Not what you're thinking 300 dollars a night for. The bathroom tub and hall way was nasty, bugs and just dirty .when we got their they asked if we wanted breakfast in the morning, had us fill out a paper for breakfast in the morning picked a time and no one brought us up breakfast. We waited and hour. Went downstairs to talk to the host and no one spoke any English. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL . Don't waist your money and be disappointed and disgusted like us.

My husband booked a 1 night stay at anniversary inn at the south temple location and it was AWFUL. Our room was so disgusting I don’t think it was cleaned. We stood outside for 20 minutes trying to get in. The door was locked, we knocked, rang the door bell and even tried calling the number that was on the door and the person who answered said this isn’t the right location….once a girl noticed we were there and let us in she said they keep it locked because a man came in 2 nights ago and was trying to hurt people. I have PTSD so this absolutely scared me. We got to our room and it was disgusting. There were stains on the bed and dust covering the fridge and TV and other thing. There was a thick black ring in our tub that looked so disgusting. They left an old pot of coffee that was almost moldy, when I pored it out it smelled so bad. The windows were all cracked and dirty and the bed was rock hard and dusty. We complained and the girl said we would have to call the manager. We still haven’t been able to get a hold of her through calls or emails. We ended up not staying the night and losing $219 just for that one night. Our whole trip was ruined and I will NEVER go back.

I stayed at the Anniversary Inn several years ago. When checking out and paying for our room, they offered us a prepaid voucher to be redeemed in a future date when we were back in town. So we bought one and spent quite a bit on it. I went to look at booking it and noticed that it has an expiration date on it. Which is an issue since I didn’t realize it had an expiration date when I purchased it and was saving it for a special occasion. In my mind. I had a major back injury in-between. And couldn't sleep in other hotels as it took years to heal. The company will not honor their certificate for a room now. They scammed me. Joyce at management didn't care about it. They just want $$$. 0/5 for greed and inconsideration. Egypt Room

Great service, fun room, and romantic experience. My wife and I experienced the Secret Garden room for our 3rd anniversary. It was a peaceful and beautiful room. The separate room with the jetted tub was worth it all. It was gorgeous, serene, and very immersive. They give you a lot for the complimentary breakfast, but it could definitely be improved as it tasted a bit subpar. The service we experienced was great. The facilities could definitely be updated, as some of it seemed outdated/falling apart a little. A few things we noticed that could have been better were the loose outlets making our chargers slip out of them, behind the bedframe not being vacuumed seemingly in ages, and a leftover bottled drink being left in our closet before we came in. These are mainly maintenance issues that could fixed with a little more detailed housekeeping and updating. That being said, the experience itself was definitely a memorable one. We will be coming back next year to try out another room!

If after this review, and by the look of others. If you still decide to stay here you're an idiot. First off I paid the extra $35.00 for an early check-in at 3pm. We got there right at 3:00. Nobody to answer the Door, nobody answering the phone. Knocked several times really loud on the door. Notta. Finally a less then joyful clerk came to the door about 10 minutes. She said we were early ,I said um nooo I paid the extra$$. She looked at me like a deer In headlights. She Said ummm well your room isn't ready yet, I just have to go finish. (Soo yeah this will come up again). Second it was loud up above us, kitchen staff very noisy, and the employee room downstairs which was right by our room was loud and noisy. Room was ok, but seemed not as clean as places I've been before, 1/2 the TV remotes there and very thin comforters/bedding. Upon checking out I voiced my concerns. Especially having not having our room ready for extra money I had to pay. The check out clerk agreed with me and said she world email the manager Joyce Well I still have not heard from Joyce, I have sent my own emails and left several voice-mails. Maria at the desk said I should get reimbursed the 35.00. I still haven't heard a thing. Sooo this place is a forever one and done. Joyce must be a Coward and a Greed. For the price you pay for a place like this You should be treated for and have the best of the best. Not so in my case as well from others I see. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.....OR YOU'LL BE AN IDIOT

We stayed at the south temple location. We did a pre check in and said we would be there at 5:00. We came later at 6:45 and was told our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait 30 more minutes, finally getting to our room at 7:15. The room had zero sound proofing, hearing all the cars on the road next door. In the morning they brought breakfast and had a used salsa included with breakfast. Trying to leave there was a car parked behind us blocking us in. I had to go back in and the front desk said, “oh, that’s probably the housekeeper, I’ll have her move”. They sent me a survey and I let them know of the issues, with no one ever getting back to me. To top it off we used a gift card and had a zero balance on our invoice, and then 2 weeks later I noticed a charge of 217.00. Would never stay here again and would advise anyone else to save your money and stay somewhere nicer.

First I want to say that the staff went above and beyond. When I originally booked the room for whatever reason it booked the wrong dates. So I missed the original date. The manager thankfully was able to move the missed date to the date I needed without charging me extra. I wasn’t able to get the original room but my wife and I were happy with the one we chose in the end. So well done to the staff for the amazing customer service. The place on South Temple is in the quaint outskirts of the Avenues in a historic mid 1800’s building which was awesome all of its own. However, due to that they were limited as far as technology and the more current accommodations you would expect from a typical hotel. I understand the themed rooms. Which don’t get me wrong the one my wife and I stayed in was really well done. But for the price I would have expected cable tv, not DVD’s to watch. The beds were okay comfort wise if we were staying at a motel 6. The package I ordered I had a free dessert, but never received it. The continental breakfast that we ordered , and delivered was mediocre at best unfortunately. Snacks and beverages were limited at the front desk. Overall, my wife and I did enjoy ourselves. It was a nice getaway, and experience; but for the price/ quality it’s questionable if we will return.

I visited for a quick weekend getaway with my wife. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was pretty good quality. The room was spacious and mostly comfortable. The noise insulation was a bit weaker as some loud vehicles going by on the street woke me up in the early hours of the morning.||||One of the main reasons I picked the location and room that I did was for the fireplace that was listed in the advertisement. However, the fireplace was deactivated and couldn't be replaced due to some permitting issue with the city. While I can understand that, I don't think a fireplace should be included in the description for the room.
