This is the Disneyland of hotels. Andi is SO helpful, kind, and unbelievable on top of it. She has made our stay so much better with her consideration and enthusiasm. She represents the hotel so wonderfully! Leilani was so kind and helpful as well! She let us peek at the empty rooms, and we had the pleasure of meeting Nancy, who was so incredibly personable! While the hotel and amenities are fabulous, the staff is spectacular and really makes this place worth revisiting.

We have been going to Anniversary Inn 2-3 times a year for the last 15 years. We spent our Honeymoon here and have just loved going back. We switch up rooms most of the time but the Treasure Island has always been our favorite. This time we did the Hawaiian Hideaway. Over the last few stays there have been gradual changes. We were always willing to pay the cost of a nights stay because we felt like it had so many included perks. However, lots have been taken away making the cost and drive time less appealing. You no longer get two complimentary slices of cheesecake, there are two small bottles of sparkling cider instead of a large one (which would be more cost efficient if they had stayed with that option), they’ve taken our two favorite meals off the breakfast menu and it’s more of a light refreshment than a meal now, we were missing our soaps by the tub, they no longer do the romantic rewards credits and the late check out time you could pay extra for used to be 2 but is now 1. The atmosphere has always been enchanting and private. We love that. Staff is friendly and check in is quick. However, it seems the room costs have increased but everything that goes with it has been slowly taken away or minimized. It may be time for us to find a new favorite spot to spend our anniversary and birthdays. We drive a few hours to get to any Anniversary Inn location and it just doesn’t seem worth it like it used to.

We had a lovely stay at the 5th South location. The man who checked us in was friendly and courteous. The room matched all the photos, but was even better in person. The themed room had a lot of attention to detail in the decor. It was meticulously clean and the bed was very comfortable as well. Breakfast was delivered to our room at the exact time we had ordered it. We will definitely be back again for another Anniversary!

First time staying at the anniversary inn and we enjoyed the experience. Check in on a Saturday night was a quick and easy, you fill out a breakfast card at check in for your completely breakfast that they bring to a room at a time you decide. The grounds were lovely and the parking was close. We stayed in the citrus bliss room and it was alright. You can tell the room is old, but it was nice. It was right next to the kitchen however and the walls were super thin so we got woken up at 6 am every day of people working in the kitchen. They did have cable tv available as well as lots of movies to borrow at the front desk. We enjoyed our stay for the most part nothing crazy amazing but it had what you needed. Breakfast was complimentary and wasn’t amazing. The kettles they used were dirty and I didn’t dare touch them.

My husband surprised me with a stay at this hotel for my birthday and I was blown away by the atmosphere of the rooms. I won't post pictures so that folks aren't spoiled, but we stayed in the Meadow room and the room is utterly gorgeous! ||Atmosphere: At least in the Diamond Suite we were in, they put so much detail into the room and ambiance. The walls were painted to match the theme of the room and had a lot of details in it! Just about every nook and cranky takes you to a magical place, even the bathtub was decorated so! It also felt like the decorations didn't get in the way either, which is a bonus in my opinion. 5/5||Functionality: The room itself had multiple TVs in different areas that worked nice and one was easy to use. They offer DVDs downstairs that are complementary with your stay and they have some modern ones as well. No Blu-ray ones though, so they won't have crisp quality. The bathtub was amazing and the jets worked as expected along with the waterfall flow. Toilet and sink worked as expected too. They do have a mini-fridge in the room, but it's very mini, I don't think I could've stored leftovers if I had brought some. One thing that the room is missing sadly is a microwave, but the staff are happy to microwave something for you if needed (such as popcorn). 4/5||Food: We did try some dinner and breakfast they offered and it was pretty mediocre. Nothing really special and for the price I could get something tastier elsewhere. The breakfast is better though and they are allergy friendly to tree nuts at least, so it's a plus for those with allergens. 3/5

Anniversary Inn is designed to be a romantic getaways for couples. Nothing quite breeds romance like a moldy bath tub. That'll get ya in the mood for sure! Or maybe the shower curtain that is missing 3 hooks, and instead of buying new hooks (what, maybe $10?) They've just folded them back in on themselves so that while showering you get a lovely 2.5' view of the hotel room, and a freezing draft so you're cold the entire shower. Or maybe that there is a "trick" to even getting the shower to work to begin with that staff doesn't know but a former guest was nice enough to write in the book. A big selling point on these rooms (used to be) the jetted tubs. But not when they're dirty and the jets spit slime at you when turned on. Not to mention the whole room is on a slope for some reason and so everything tips. You roll while sleeping. You slip in the shower. The blow dryer is so dirty it spit lint on me when I turned it on, not to mention it turns off every minute or so due to being too hot from said lint. I've read other reviews about the lack of amenities, and it's true. It would be fine to pay $400 if the rooms were improved, and at the very least, clean. But this time I'm left wondering what we're paying that money for? It's definitely not the amenities as most of them have gone away (no complimentary cheesecake, I could get a better breakfast at a local convenience store) it's not the staff as they act put out, and it's definitely not for a clean room, or even an updated room. There are much better hotels, for half the price, in and around SLC. Don't waste your time or money here.

I was really disappointed when I pulled up with my wife on our wedding night. We were late getting there and nobody was at the desk by then. They communicated with us that they left a key for us which we got. But when we tried to enter our room we were unable to. We tried for 15 minutes messing with the locks but no luck. So we gave up on that and went to find a new hotel. We tried to get a refund or something but nobody answers. Just told that the “manager” Will contact me. Never has to this day. Bad customer service, pure disappointment.

We have come to anniversary inn for years and have for the most part really loved our experience. However, this time was noticeably different. They changed their breakfast and it was almost hilarious how ridiculously cheap it was. They shrunk the yogurt parfait so that it’s a sample size you get from Costco. And the orange juice was a half a glass and it was fake! Tasted like colored water. They no longer do their cream cheese raspberry croissant. Instead, it’s just a little pastry. Everything is on plastic and paper cups. We used to love their egg frittata and they don’t do that anymore. It’s kind of like a breakfast you would get on the go at 7-Eleven. So sad. If they charge $400 for a room, you think that they would do a better job with breakfast. Very disappointing. Just beware before you book.
