High quality clean vegetaría Indian food. Some of the best chai and chole bhatura in SoCal, hands down
They usually run out of chai everyday 1-2 hours before they close. So get it quick lol
The bhindi is ok but literally everything else is OUTSTANDING. Chole bhatura are my go to, and it ALWAYS hits the spot
Paneer and masala dosas are solid, can’t go wrong
Rasmalai usually great
Service is good but because they’re always so slammed, opportunity for improvement
One of the best vegetarian South Indian restaurants in LA!
Annapurna is a decent Indian Vegetarian restaurant. Artesia has much better options for Indian vegetarian food, but if you're looking for something near Culver City/Westwood, it's a decent option.
Ordered two items:
1. Kadai Paneer: Ordered this item alone first. It was very bland. Super disappointed. They also didn't offer it with basmati rice. It almost felt like eating South Indian rice with North Indian curry. Given that their North Indian items were pretty average, decided to try something South Indian.
2. Karaikudi Kothu Parotta: Very flavorful and tasty! We loved it actually. Decided that the next time we visit here, we'll likely only try the South Indian items.
The waiters could offer a better ordering experience overall.
Excellent food. we visited today for lunch buffet . There was a little wait time but staff (Raghu) were ready to help us. Chicken Biryani was awesome. It was upto to the mark and the menu is huge, from veg to non veg and dessert. Would def recommend to visit.
Loved the hot dosa being served. Staff is really good and fast filling
Wonderful service. We will visit again👍
I sat there for 20min for a dosa. I was crying when sitting there and watching my friends finishing their food and I still had NOTHING! I don’t know if they forgot or I was the only non-Indian in the restaurant. They only talked to my Indian friends (actually they only talked to South Indians, not even my North Indian friends). Nobody came to apologize to me for letting me wait for so long. Horrible service and racist attitude. It’s the first time that I was so angry that I even cried in a restaurant. It’s completely ridiculous.
Another good choice in LA area for South Indian fare. If you are not willing to commute to Artesia, then Annapurna is a good choice in the West LA area. The menu has South Indian affairs like masala dosa, medu vada and idly. The paper roast is very good and is popular here. The oothappams are also good with desired crispiness and softness. They used have Buffett and Thali and they do not serve that anymore. Whenever I am in LA , I like to visit Annapurna. The service is very friendly and atmosphere is reminding the hotels in Chennai. Four Stars .
PavBhaji Masala dosa and sambar is the best. Idly is good too. But the service sucks. Never bring your order together. One person in your group gets there order in 5 min and the other might have to wait 30 min. But the food is always good.
Delicious South Indian food, was excited to try some dishes that you cant find in other Indian restaurants. Very flavorful. The Sambar vada was a highlight and so was the chilli paneer with szchuan fried rice! Will 100% come back again
Good vegetarian restaurant! It was busy on a Tuesday evening.
Food: They were out of Rava dosa so we got cheese chilli dosa, pav bhaji dosa, medu vada and chaas. I enjoyed the main dishes particularly cheese chilli dosa. I didn’t really enjoy the sambar much, it was too thick for me.
Service: Our food arrived in 15-20 mins after ordering it. Overall dynamic felt like a typical Indian restaurant (felt like I was in a restaurant back at home)
Parking: There is free parking outside the restaurant.

I had my first ever spin class with Monique today! She was amazing - super upbeat and made me feel welcome, comfortable, and confident from the moment I met her. I was worried about the class (âclassicâ) being too difficult for me as someone who
