Inside Way to small to sit down and eat at. But the service was great and spot on. Food is really good the loaded potato is delicious.Im not a fan of the sauces for the meat and the brisket is good but the cut seems oddly thick cut and bit to smokey for me while other may really like that smokey taste was a bit much for me. Corn casserole ok.. tomato pie was delicious and pecan pie delicious. 32 $ for a pound of Brisket is definitely on the higher side of others places in town. I ordered cornbread but it was not in there. Overall definitely return for the loaded potato and a few other items will have to try some other meats next time.

AMAZING food !!!! The brisket litteraly melts in your mouth! Chicken was tender and juicy. Fried Okra was just like grandma made and the chili beans and corn bread absolutely delicious. Homemade pickles are good too. Try a slice of buttermilk pie... This place doesn't disappoint! All around great food. Will definitely be coming here again. Very affordable as well.

Food is incredible, best brisket I've ever had. Potato salad is amazing. Desserts are excellent. Best food in town!!

I usually get the bowl which comes with 2 sides and your choice of meat. My regular are the ribs, I like that they are not smothered in barbecue sauce, they have a dry rub on them and you get the sauce on the side. Their potato salad has quite a bit of dill and I enjoyed the taste however my kids thought it was too "pickled-y". Their chilly beans and mack & cheese are also delicious... I've tried the pull pork salad and it came with a lot of meat which I didn't care too much for but I think it may have been that the meat was kinda cold. At first I thought it was too expensive but honestly the portions are huge so I think is worth it. For desert don't forget the beignets. -Check out their website for the full menu and sign up to get a coupon on your next order.

Simply Amazing Barbecue!! 🤌🏼🔥 The Brisket was smoked to perfection, plenty marbled, the right amount of char, & cut thic by a pro! The flavor stands on its own and the meat was flaky, juicy, fork tender greatness… You Gotta try all 4 sauces. Gentleman’s Classic has a light pour, great tang, & just the right mild kick at the end. Sassy Southerner shows her sauce a little thicker with a bigger kick and a hug at the beginning followed by smooth sweetness at the end, makes sense 😅🔥 Unique rotating side menu, I got to try the tomato pie with amazing flaky crust top. And the classic potato salad was creamy, lightly seasoned refreshing. Ring the bell at the door if you know what’s up with flavor Town🤩 The Banana Pudding Cake was fluffy yellow cake, topped with the banana pudding custard style w crumbled cookies on top. Dec-a-dent decadent!!!🍰 🔥Follow Tobes Brisket Challenge for more national barbecue reviews…🗺

I've been in California for 3 months and I've been looking for legit Tri-Tip. Finally found it at Angry Barnyard. What a great place. The Tri-Tip was moist and juicy and spiced just right so as not to overpower the flavor of the meat. The meat stood on its own -- which it should -- without any sauce. But their sauces are delicious -- a traditional BBQ, a spicy BBQ, a Carolina honey mustard, and a mayo based sauce with a hint of horseradish that they call Alabama White, which paired best with the Tri-Tip. The ribs were good, too. Tender with a crispy molasses bark. Again, the ribs were good just as they are, but paired nicely with the traditional style sauces. The sides were well done, the cornbread was spot on with just a dab of butter on top. They even had sweet tea. Highly recommended. 2 thumbs 👍 I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic BBQ! Some of the best in town! First time I've had grits and they were great. Also, I usually hate greens but these were amazing. The Turkey was moist and smokey. The brisket was so tender I could cut it with a plastic fork! Stop by and enjoy!

Definitely a spot to try in Bakersfield! They were out of the tri-tip when I visited so the owner suggested the rib sandwich and when I say chefs kiss 🤌! Yess!! Different sauces to choose from. The potato salad was also amazing. I even loved how she cared that I tried the Mac and cheese. I really appreciate it!

We stopped here by chance on a long journey to Los Angeles. It's a loud and energetic atmosphere, with television screens showing different sports matches all around and a bar in the central position. There are two different options available to you:

Stopped for dinner in Bakersfield on our way to San Jose. We enjoyed some pupusas - shrimp for hubby & loroco (squash flower) for me. The chicken tamal was very fluffy and had more of a spongy texture. The plantain empanadas were very rich and creamy
