one of the best places to eat. beautiful restaurant, great customer service? and a very homie vibe. the food was phenomenal and most of the time made by the owner himself. I highly recommend this place 👌🏽

This place is superb! Definitely upscale high quality Italian food with service and taste to match. Small and kind of not obvious place in Stoneham, but I highly recommend reservation for the weekend as it gets BUSY. The atmosphere is great for a quiet romantic date night but also perfect for a family gathering. The service was excellent, they stay on top of their stuff, communicate everything about the restaurant clearly, but aren’t on top of you. Water is constantly filled, plates are cleared away, and they let you know about wait times so expectations are clear! To start we had oysters with bone marrow and lamb chops. Everything is so freshly made, perfectly cooked, and properly seasoned. The bread that came with the bone marrow was so delicious! I would come just to try that again. For entrees we had veal chop and a seafood dish. The veal was cooked exactly as asked, and it was delicious. The seafood was good, but not amazing. I think next time I’ll definitely get a pasta dish. Overall drinks were tasty, service was great, food was well worth it. Yes it is pricy but you really get an amazing experience. We got two drinks, apps, and entrees and paid about $300 including tip.

I was looking for a new pizza place around us.. we ordered a Sicilian zaza pizza and a margarita pizza.. both awful and thrown away and waste of money .. first of all zaza pizza is usually not a red sauce but the pizza was so over cooked and the peppers (or tomatoes, couldn’t tell what it was) tasted like clams or fish, they either put some sort of seafood on their zaza pizza or it’s cross contain instead but we have a seafood allergy. margarita pizza did not look like a margarita at all, it looked like a cheese pizza with basil and I absolutely hate regular pizza cheese which is why I get margarita pizza and the crust literally was so crunchy but with a Celeste feel.. never going here again so upset we wasted money, shouldn’t have been gone in when we noticed there was literally not 1 car in the parking lot.. really want a refund My husband said it was the worst pizza he has ever had, dominos even our sons Kirkland personal pizzas from Costco are better than it! Maybe it was an off today but being on a budget and wanted to treat ourselves to take out for a night, we can’t eat it and it’s going right in trash unless I bring it back to the restaurant if they contact me soon. I also sent an email through their website. If I don’t receive a response, I will be going to BBB because I am so upset we wasted our money that was supposed to be a treat for us.

The menu offered the night I went was higher in price than I'm used to buuuut.... WOW it's was soooo good! Joe, our server, was spot on with us and everyone around us! We started with bread and oil, and an app of Bruschetta, which was a delicious burst of flavor. My Risotto with lobster is, hands down, my new favorite. My wife had a truffle and pasta dish, with never having truffle before, and fell head over heels in love with it! They have a regular menu too, but I didn't see that, so I can only imagine how many more options I could have tried! For my wife and I, we are more than willing to drive the 50+ minutes to get there and dine again!

Great authentic Italian food without going to Boston. Has a small sub/ meals side and a full restaurant side. Restaurant opens later in the day. Still Family owned. Delicious. Worth the trip.

Food was mediocre. I’m very picky when it comes to Italian sauce…a bit watery for my taste and the food came out cold. They are very short staffed expect a long wait. I wasn’t impressed at all don’t believe I will be returning for another visit sadly the reviews seemed like it was awesome

We had 7pm reservations on Sat 4/29 for 5. We were seated promptly and ordered our meals at 7:15 Food did not arrive until 8:40 PM. One dinner was the wrong order and the correct order was never served - rather boxed up when we got our bill at 9:40. Another meal had to be returned due to an issue with the sauce. Specific details follow but suffice it to say if are looking for an enjoyable night, good service and honest pricing where everyone gets an appetizing meal- keep looking!! ———————————————————————— At 8:40 - One meal was wrong, we ordered fettuccine con manzo, waitress, delivered linguine, ner à la Pescatore. After insinuating the mistake was ours, the meal was taken back. - A second meal, swordfish with lemon and saffron had a very unsavory sauce. When our waitress returned to check on our meals (and brought the nera la pescatore back offering it to us as it would be “wasted”) we inquired if we could switch it with the unpalatable swordfish dinner and she agreed. The swordfish dinner was removed. At 9:00 - the swordfish (now covered in a red sauce) was brought back to the table and we were told the chef wanted to ensure we were satisfied). Not sure why since one person still doesn’t have a meal and for unknown reasons another has 2 meals (although only the replacement dish was requested). At 9:30 our waitress came to the table to apologize and said the restaurant was short a cook that evening. She offered a dessert to the person who had not gotten her meal - actually insisting, although the dessert was refused. I was embarrassed having invited these people to dinner and having such a disaster so I said she should bring the dessert and the bill as 4 of us had finished our dinner and we had been there for just under 3 hours. The final insult to injury was when the bill arrived at 9:40 with the dessert charge(any decent and respectable restaurant, would have comped) as well as charges for five dinners, although only four were served at your restaurant, another came in a box with the bill , and the returned swordfish with the replaced sauce which we did not want, we did not request, and we should not have been charged for was bagged and sent with us. I feel this was a bait and switch as you charged us for the more expensive dishes (fish) yet comped the least expensive Pepe Nero. Perhaps Angelo could rectify the overcharge by donating my overcharge of the swordfish dinner and the cannoli dessert to the local food bank or FeedingAmerica @ https://give.feedingamerica
