Pizza was above average very tasty & crispy delicious crust. Blue cheese dressing was chunky & creamy just the way it should be although I wish the salad had a little more to it, kind of skimpy. I would recommend ordering ahead for pick up. Unfortunately service was not as good as pizza. Good help is hard to find😢

Great pizza in an historic home. Inside seating in a couple locations with outside seating in a relaxed porch setting. A beautiful wooden bar is located in one of the indie seating areas. Pizza was delicious. The rice meatball appetizer tasted and appeared to be a purchased, frozen product, like most of the desserts. The great pizza and historic atmosphere makes this a must stop restaurant.

I have ordered sicilian pizza here for a few years now. And have loved everyone. Its the closest to sicilian pizza from NJ...Until the last couple of times. It must be someone new making them. I get way more crust on the edges at least 2"wide. Less toppings, sauce and cheese. I realize it's a thick pizza. But there should only be 1/2" of crust on edges. Specially when your paying good money for the specialty pizza. I have a pic but unable to submit.

We have eaten here 4 x delivery. Omg, the very best. First time Stromboli and eggplant. Both were so excellent. The source, the flavor. Yummy 😋. Tonight chicken f something was lemon butter sauces. So good and calazone is just delicious. Be cautious ⚠️ large is humongous. Love ❤️ this restaurant. White pizza is delicious. Didn't care for chicken marsella

We love Angelo's!!! There is nothing we would not recommend. All their dishes we have tried are good if not exceptional! We are huge fans of the stuffed pizza. It is a master piece to say the least. A word of warning, a slice is more than enough for most. Our adult kids share a slice together, two of them. The only downfall is the warmth for inside dining. Otherwise the place has the old rustic charm that down town Inverness has tried so hard to preserve. It's worth the minor discomfort. We wouldn't have any other way. The best things in life are worth the challenges. Anyway, we cannot praise and tell you why this should be your go to Italian place. You have to experience it for yourself and decide if our family is like yours. Buon appetito!!!!

Nice if you aren't in a hurry. Not enough wait staff but, its a catch 22. If there were more waiters, they wouldn't make enough in tips ; nature of the business. Our waiter Bill was great ! I eat at both places. Support local businesses.

As a NYC transplant I find certain foods are not the same as up north. But after trying a few different places, Angelo’s Pizza is my go to place for the closest I found to a NYC style pizza. It’s really good. I tried a Chicken Parmigiana sandwich it was actually the perfect amount of chicken sauce and cheese. I must say the best one I’ve had. I don’t mind driving through 2 towns to get my pizza fix. I highly recommend their food.And the Hostess is super friendly.

First time ever I couldn't finish my meal. I ordered the Tuscan Pasta with chicken and the portion was enough for 2! 😋 It was devine. Hubby had the lasagna. Had to try the cheesecake, also the best I've tasted in Citrus County since my neighbor moved! Garlic knots were passable but a little on the dry side, I'm use to rolls dripping with garlic. We will definitely come back again. Only 4 stars due to no dark beer choices.
