Visited here for a business lunch on a Thursday afternoon. It was not crowded and we were seated immediately. It’s a small and cozy old school family run Italian restaurant. We loved the cozy vibe. The service was good and prompt. The food was excellent. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the meatballs were heavenly. The eggplant parmigiana was also excellent. The clam dish was very juicy and was a perfect pairing with the bread and the butter. Overall a must visit if you want original Italian food

My fiancé and I have been living in this area for three years and never ate inside any of the restaurants since we usually go to the city. In our efforts to support local we decided to try Angelo’s and it did not disappoint! I recently went to Milan for work but the food here is just as amazing! The decor really set the fine dining ambiance, we had the rigatoni w/ ricotta, linguine with claims, and the claims oreganata for appetizer. We couldn’t decide between a side of meatballs or sausage and so they gave us one of each as a single side. The portions were huge and we devoured the fresh bread. We received the BEST service from our server, Alberto. This is the perfect spot for date night as the staff are so conscious of making you feel like you’re not rushed. Halfway through we had to take our food to go because we were stuffed but after a glass of Cabernet we decided to buy a bottle of Brunello because we hardly see those available at other restaurants. 10/10 we cannot wait to bring our parents here! I’ve been to a lot of Italian restaurants and this one is definitely a highlight. It’s maintained an old school Italian charm that’s hard to come by these days. Food is delicious with generous serves - I highly recommend the calamari casserole (plus a side of linguini) but everything was great. Only downside was that service was a little abrupt but overall had a lovely experience here.

It was my first time here. When I walked in the “host” gave me a nasty look and was extremely unwelcoming. What an awful way to feel when you enter an establishment. Will not be dining here or recommending it to others. Customer service, and how you make your guest feel, still counts for something. I hope they take that to heart, for what it’s worth.

This is a strange review to write - the first like it I’ve done. We were staying in a Lyndhurst hotel and found this restaurant nearby with good reviews and decided to pop in on a Sunday night. The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. I fell in love as soon as I walked in. However, I didn’t find the place to be overly welcoming. The front house staff asked us if we had a reservation (didn’t even occur to me late on a Sunday) and kind of rudely waved around and told us it would be a “45 minute wait, maybe even a lot longer.” Mind you, no one else was waiting. But we went to the bar. Cocktails were delicious, sat next to a rude guy giving me dirty looks, but whatever. About 20 minutes later, after a few expensive drinks, we were very warmly told there was a table for us. The food was divine. I had the eggplant parm and husband had spaghetti and meatballs, with Chianti for both. We had wonderful conversation with the table next to us (tables are kind of close to one another) and the server was great. It was a great meal. Later, without any prior discussion, my husband and I both shared that we got some pretty racist vibes in the place. My husband is white and I'm African-American and I don't think that's something we've both picked up on so clearly in the past and its definitely not anything I've ever written in a review before. But it was pretty clear to both of us.

Showed up on a packed night without reservations. Extremely nice hostess set up a table for us. Dinner was excellent. I have celiacs and tried their gluten-free spaghetti with clam sauce. Very delicious and for once a good gluten-free pasta dish. Excellent wine dinner and service!!!
