Angelita Vineyard & Winery - Winery in Corsicana - Angus TX, 254 Shady Creek Lane, USA

We stopped by this lovely winery in the afternoon on July 16th for lunch. We hadn't eaten all day and were starving! We ordered the Smoked Salmon Bruschetta, Drunken Goat, and Olive Tapenade. We enjoyed the Inheritance red wine and the view of horses lazily grazing in the distance. The only downside was the bathroom was so overly fragrant with scented oil plugins and scented candles it was unbearable. (Just crack the window for fresh air instead. ;-) The staff was very accommodating and super friendly. We will be back on our next trip to Dallas.

Mira was our host. She was so knowledgeable about all of the wines. Try the 20 dollar tasting...get a little bit everything with the cheese tray, and the smoked salmon brioche...absolutely fabulous.

Wow where do we begin?! Lydia was our host and she was AMAZING! She did not just want us to have our wine tasting and kicked us out! Customer relation is soooo big to us and she hit that nail on the head! And the wine was great as well! Our overall experience was a 10/10. If you are on the fence of if the visit or not, you most certainly should!

We stopped here on our way from Houston to Dallas to stretch our legs and relax for a bit, and I’m so glad we did! It’s a little off the beaten path, but don’t let that worry you. Our hostess was so sweet, and the wine was very relaxing. Cabernet-sauvignon was my favorite by far; took a bottle to go.

What a wonderful winery! We tried about 6 wines and they were all delicious. We loved the Anna’s Angel and Dedication the best. If you’re driving between Dallas and Houston, this is a must stop.

A hidden gem so close by !!! Truely enjoyed an afternoon @ winery within an hour of our home --- an unexpected treat for sure. The wine was most pleasant with a variety for many tastes for many palates. Beautiful grounds & small but lovely vineyards. Food was most reasonable with up to date with favorable offerings. Knowledgeable & engaging staff. Most definitely going back with guests from our home & neighbors! Such a treat!!

My wife and I saw a billboard yesterday and made the quick decision to exit and check out Angelita Vineyard & Winery. We are SO pleased we did. We arrived a few minutes prior to opening and managed to get a little work done. At precisely noon, we walked through the door and were greeted enthusiasticall by our hostess, Lydia. She gave us the run down on options and we each chose to do a tasting of their driest five wines as well as order the Salmon Brucetta as an appetizer prior to our planned meal down the road. Everyone's palate is different so I'll let you decide what you like. However, the Anna's Angel is special. The bruchetta was wonderful too. Our favorite thing about this quaint stop was Lydia's enthusiastic hospitality. We cannot recommend Angelita highly enough!
