If you plan on eating here make sure you call and make reservations.
Our waiter and food were great. If you don't like loud make sure you sit in the restaurant, the enclosed patio is nice, but very loud I could barley hold a conversation with my wife.
So why the 4 star review and not a 5? Well upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by the usher who stated our table was ready. All of a sudden out of the corner of my eye I saw someone coming at us at a high rate of speed. Rudley asked the usher why he was seating us as we showed up 10 minutes early for our reservations. I could tell the usher was embarrassed and so was I. Here is the kicker when leaving the Restaurant the male floor manager looked at us and didn't say have a great night, or even the word bye. He could have made the experience better just by addressing us as humans.
Other than that everything was great. Maybe I didn't give off the vibe of a rich person. I'll tell you this I tipped the waiter 30% of the bill, never judge a book by its cover.
All this said I would definitely go back....and recommend this restaurant. Average plate is around $38... no children's menu but will give a half portion for around $18. I don't know if they do it every night but they had vale parking.
We have been coming to Angelina’s every time we visit from Montreal. We love the atmosphere and the owner talking to us even when the place is packed. The food is amazing and can’t get enough of the garlic Brussels Sprouts. The drinks are spot on and we always love trying something different every time. It’s worth the wait and looking forward to our next meal :)
Menu items are a bit on the pricey side but here, you get what you pay for! Exemplary service, ample portions, amazing food, extensive menu offerings, free valet parking (be sure to tip these hard working folks!). I think I've discovered my new annual Anniversary dinner venue! Reservations are a must.
A Taste of Italy in Maine - An Unforgettable Experience at Angelina's Italian Restaurant
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Angelina's Italian Restaurant in Maine, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine served with warm hospitality, this place is an absolute gem.
From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a charming smile by a kind gentleman in a black Burberry collared shirt. The décor, reminiscent of a cozy trattoria, immediately transported me to the bustling streets of Rome. Worried that we didn’t have reservations, travelers from Ohio, they immediately made accommodations.
Overall, my experience at Angelina's Italian Restaurant was simply outstanding. The combination of authentic Italian cuisine, charming atmosphere, and impeccable service make it a clear favorite in my book.

Spectacular dining experience. The place was jamming, but they were still welcoming and friendly, especially to our little girl. Love that they have high end Coravin wine pours, so we couldn’t pass up the Cakebread Cabernet by the glass. Veal parmesan and lobster pappardelle were huge portions and excellent. Very knowledgeable and professional waiter, and the foh manager running the place was on point and impressive.
We were staying at nearby motel and looking for somewhere for dinner. After checking out some of the reviews we weren’t sure what to expect! We arrived around 5:30 and were seated right away, by 6:30 when we were done the place was packed!
We were pleasantly surprised with amazing service and delicious food. We started with Caprese salad that tasted good but more flavorful tomatoes would have been nice. After that we both had a seafood pasta and both were extremely flavorful and packed with lobster/seafood. The pasta was cooked just right with the three cheese sauce well balanced.
The service was incredible with someone always available to make sure we had what we needed.
Overall we had a great experience!
Outstanding food and quick, friendly service!! I got the seafood trio… swordfish, scallops and shrimp over lemon- Artichoke risotto and my husband had lasagna.. best Italian food we have ever had! I sincerely regret we didn’t save room for dessert: It looked delicious! I look forward to going here again next time we visit southern Maine.
My husband and I were staying in town and wanted somewhere close by to where we were staying. We walked from our hotel and avoided the valet fee. This place did not disappoint! I am Italian from NY and this would be one of the top 5 Italian places I’ve been to.
We went early, 5:30 for dinner and it was such a hack. It was quiet and we didn’t have to wait. We were seated inside to the left of the host stand. It was quiet, which was great. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress was so attentive and kept checking on us.
For food, the bread was delicious and warm. We loved the oil with the parm cheese. For an app, we split the caprese salad. It was delicious! The tomatoes weren’t in season and the whole dish needed more seasoning, but still tasty. For mains, my husband got the lobster your way with the 3 cheese Alfredo. It was a generous portion and had a ton of lobster! I got the seafood special pasta. It was so delicious! The pappardelle was homemade and you could tell! It was Al dente but still chewy. The seafood was cooked well and I loved the creamy, garlicky tomato sauce. To finish, I had an espresso which was strong and delicious.
We had an excellent experience and would definitely be back!!
