Clean rooms. But rude staff in office. Maids seemed fair

Stayed here for like 8 months. last December I left Christmas day I returned after being away for two days (I was trying to make money to pay for the room) the room being emptied and kicked out for not paying. I love how this is how in treated after months of paying then everyday and being probably one of their best/quietest tenant. Other then that the place was definitely entertaining and had its share of far out people. I'd return but I'm not welcomed ever again.

The First time I've stayed here after the renovations and revamped rooms. Now emeralds best. Renamed but for good reason. The difference is literally night and day, from its previous so called amenities. Now there is a Kitchenette, complete with a full size refrigerator, coffee maker, and two queen size beds standard in each room. I am very happy. Even the customer service by the owners was very good. KUDOS. :)

I booked on Priceline for a total of $85. When I went to check in they ran my card for “incidentals”, said it would come off my card in 5 business days. They charged me $188!! These are a bunch of scammers, do NOT trust these people!

The manager and staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The walls are a little thin so you could hear occasional noise. The price was right and I would definitely return.

I haven't been to this motel but I work just down the street where I get plenty of traffic from Andy's. All I've got to say is Thia place needs to be shut down. I've heard from both residents and employees who have worked there that it's nothing but a minimum security prison. If you work there you can't even talk to the residents as friends. In one particular case a resident had his medical respirator taken away, among other important items, as collateral until they paid their rent, which considering it's medical equipment needed for his survival, I'd assume is illegal. They were thrown out to sleep in their car until they paid, and weren't even aloud to use the restroom facilities. They were forced to use the bathroom outside behind the building! All in all this place really needs to be shut down. I'm sure I could rant on for a long while about how bad this place is. If the other comments and my own don't tell you that you should avoid this place, just take my word for it. Between bed bug infestations, to backstabbing. Just no.

I've stayed there since they have remodeled the rooms and they still have roaches and bed bugs, fleas and all kinds of other bugs. The maid doesn't speak a word of english so she just screams at you as if you can understand her because she is screaming. The staff is racist and rude not a place for children.

We stayed two nights on separate occasions at this place with out incident. The first stay was okay ish, the bathroom was gross with brown rust spots on the ceiling that would drip brown on you if you took a hot shower, and the stove in the kitchen had never, ever been cleaned, having black encrusted i-don't-know-what on it. The second night we stayed in a different room that had a much nicer shower and a microwave in the kitchen. Nothing incidental happened during this stay, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, always wanting us to come back and even offering discounts, so nice and welcoming! Almost too nice... Third attempt at staying is why I am writing this one star review. Paid for a week with my fiance' for room 46. A few hours in, in broad daylight still, my fiance' found a bedbug crawling on me. I'm certified with EPA registrations for horticultural pest control handling and application. Included in my training to get these certifications is learning the identification of pest species - including bed bugs. I can confirm that this place still does indeed have bed bugs. Upon discovering that our room had bugs (it had been around 11PM at this point by the time we were 100% sure there was an infestation and wanted our money back), we headed to the office demanding a refund and explaining why. Again I would like to point out that we paid for an entire week and had only been in the room a few hours - long enough to shower and cook a meal in their kitchen. They refused to give us our refund, stating we would have to come back in the morning when the owner was there. We also had captured some of the bed bugs in an empty bottle and shown them to the person working, and at first they tried to say they weren't bed bugs, THEN they tried to say they weren't even alive - and when they started moving in his hand and he put them back in the bottle still insisted they were at least dying, saying that they just sprayed for bed bugs - openly admitting they have a bedbug problem that they KNOW about, that they are not informing or warning customers of before they enter any agreements with the business. After we came back in the morning, they only gave us a partial refund, keeping the money for the one night that we didn't stay (because we packed our things up and slept in our car instead, refusing to sleep somewhere with an infestation), and keeping the security deposit as well. Luckily, that's only $70 they kept.... Also we'd left some food in the fridge for the night while we slept in our car, and upon asking if we could recover it when we got our refund, we were informed that they'd already cleaned the room up and thrown our food out! Outrageous. They were kind and willing to work with us entirely up until the point we found there was a problem. They did keep more than they were owed also as it was only supposed to be around $50 (give or take $5 or so) for night per our agreement. I did look around for signs of them but I could not find any. Would like to note here also that when you want to rent a room, they make you wait about 20 minutes while they clean it before you enter. I found it a bit suspicious before, considering usual hotel/motel housecleaning practices, but now I feel the reason may be they are getting rid of signs of the bugs or something. Would like to point out that they do not spread disease, but repeated bites and exposure can lead to allergic reactions, which in their extreme can lead to anaphylactic shock, which can be a life threatening situation. They also spread very quickly and in a sneaky manner by hitching a ride in luggage and clinging to clothing, then climbing off at new locations to create a new infestation. Having bedbugs is an issue that threatens the quality of sleep and living of its tenants and it is up to the business to keep their conditions living and accommodating. All in all, it's a charming little place if you're a fan of Supernatural or something. But unless you want bedbugs to follow you along, I'd avoid this place entirely.
