I’ve been coming to Andy’s since I was a little boy in the late 90s and early 2000s. I considered Mr. Andy one of, if not the best role model for the community in Columbia, and I also feel he truly represented a perfect and ideal image of what the American dream looks like. I have never once had a negative experience out of all the times I’ve be been here, the food can’t be compared to anywhere else in the city and is always delicious, the service is consistently impeccable, and the two sons of Mr. Andy still make you feel right at home, just as Mr. Andy once did. I get a little choked up talking about it because this place to me just represents happy times, family, and goodness. I love Andy’s deli, and the family that runs it, as well as the food! Every year for the last 20 ish my family had picked up a large deli tray for Christmas Day. The employees always remember us, the tray is fabulous, and the tradition will carry on! They truly make you feel like family and have delicious food!

Family owned and it shows. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere, super good food. We really enjoyed our visit. I got the Reuben and my girl got the Andy's Special sub. Both plates were amazing and we will definitely be back!

Took my daughter out for lunch here because she's a sophomore at USC and hadn't been here yet. Crazy. It's just as friendly as it was three decades ago. She got the Reuben, and I got the Greek salad. As you can probably guess from the picture, I wasn't hungry the rest of the day. Definitely a classic spot.

Can't say how many times I have eaten there but each time is great. Went to Carolina late 80's early 90's. My son's first year was last year (2022) and he is now a regular as well. Getting ready to begin his Sophomore year for the Fall semester (2023). Moving up there tomorrow and our first stop will be Andy's for lunch. See you guys then. An old timey deli in central Columbia. Really big portions of great tasting food at competitive prices. And, they use styrofoam- you know, the stuff that really works. Super friendly staff. Bonus! Free and easy parking. Highly recommend.
