Androscoggin Swinging Bridge - Bridge in Topsham - Swinging Bridge, USA

A very cool surprise just down the road from The Federal hotel. This suspension bridge offers a beautiful view over the river which must be impressive on a more pleasant day. Easy access and parking this is worth a few minutes if your day to see if you’re in the area. I imagine it could swing pretty decently in a windy day.

Great bridge. Love the idea. It was built for people to get to work. Also to enjoy the beauty of the river . Seeing the power of the water. There no swimming. But great fishing

A decent hanging bridge, the drive is not too much from Portland city. No entrance, very small parking lot.

Very cool pedestrian bridge, enjoyable even in the drizzling rain. Check out treats at Wildflour gluten-free bakery in walking distance of the bridge. Enjoy!

Pit stop here and do the walk! It was super easy to find. Park in the parking lot, and took the quick walk across. Its historic and worth saying you walking across it. It was rainy and cold, so we didnt stay long, but I am sure on a beautiful day, this is really fun to spend extra time on. It was a windy day so we could certainly feel the swing. Was a really neat thing to do while traveling the area.

Was Lucky to come upon this place. Was due to a little traffic jam enroute from Bath To Portland. Parking area small but there were spots. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area

It's a really peaceful year-round. It's a beautiful night or day. Winter is a great time to visit here as well. It's one of my favorite spots in Brunswick.
