Andril Fireplace Cottages - Lodging in Pacific Grove - 569 Asilomar Ave, USA

Not sure Andril needs more love from happy travelers as the place is almost always booked and their reviews here are stellar. But we just had another great stay, so I wanted to show some appreciation.||We used to live in Pacific Grove and visit every year. Andril is our home away from home. The dwellings are cute and clean, and the property is incredibly dog friendly. It's also a short walk to the beach through Asilomar, which has a great deck, pool tables, and a nice little cafe for breakfast or a snack.||On our most recent trip, we weren't able to get a suite/cabin, which is our preference, but instead were in one of their two King rooms. The vaulted ceiling in our ours made it feel more spacious. The windows aren't situated to catch the sea breeze, but we had a little fan with us that kept us cool at night. There's also a great private patio (I think every room they offer has one), and we spent most of our time hanging out there. The two King rooms are set up like a duplex, but we rarely heard the people on the other side of the wall. Great privacy.||Though they don't offer breakfast or happy hour like some of their neighboring properties, they do have a nice selection of snacks and coffee in the office.

The staff is great. The rooms are clean and comfortable -very very dog friendly. prices are reasonable. We have been here many many times and are always happy to be back. Nice short walk to Asilomar beach. The Fishwife is walking distance as well. They have a wide variety of cottages ranging from studio one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom.

My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway from the heat in the Bay Area and we found Andrill Fireplace Cottages in Pacific Grove. We called and lucky for us, they had a King bed room available. They gave us a discount and booked us over the phone. Also, they only charge $20 per night for our dog Buddy. Very reasonable pricing all the way around. ||The room was very clean and had a microwave, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, fireplace, ceiling fan, TV with cable. Bathroom was very clean as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful. Unlimited snacks, coffee, and filtered water as well. Plus you get your own private front porch seating area and barbecue grill with grill utensils. Everything you need except the charcoal. ||To summerize, we will definitely be going back and making the Andrill Fireplace Cottages our go-to place when we visit the Monterey area.

We were recommended to stay at Andril Fireplace Cottages by a family that goes every year. We found the property great for our family of five. We stayed in Unit 22, which had a king and twin in one room, and a double in the other room. Beds were very comfortable, the fireplaces cozy, and the community amenities really were enjoyed by our family-the greenbelt/yard, ping pong table, and spa. Housekeeping and office staff were great, as were the snacks, coffee, and tea. The Cottages are a great spot to stay on a visit to Monterey!

Wow- What a gem of a place we found to stay. Our family of 4 had a| 2bd/1 bth/kit/patio cottage. This place is in a great location -close to many ventures to do in Monterey/Big Sur. We were close to 17 mile drive/Asilomar Beach/Monterey Bay Aquarium. We also took a drive to McWay falls/Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park/Point Lobos. ||Andril cottages had snacks and dvds in the lobby at all times of the day and a grass area for the family pet to run around and play. We snuck in a hot tub time after a long hike from Point Lobos. We were near a Safeway/Trader Joes and were able to cook some of our meals. I was able to relax in the patio and read a book, while listening to the birds chatting. Asilomar beach was just a few steps from the cottages. It was a bonus to see a deer along the path near our cottages. Carrie and Orion/pomeranian were very helpful during our stay. What a relaxing and enjoyable trip.

Great location within walking distance to the beach. Very quiet, our room was spacious, clean , updated, with a comfortable sofa, and dining table. We stayed in one of their stand alone cottages with our dog. These have fenced private back yards perfect for dogs. Now our goto place whenever we visit the area.

I have been coming to Andrils for almost 30 years now. It is like coming home. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The cottage and grounds are sparkling clean. I noticed some nice upgrades in the cottage since I was last here. It is super welcoming, cozy, and relaxing. We brought our two dogs and it was a pleasure to be somewhere with other dog owners (including the staff). We will continue to make Andrils our home-away-from home in the future!

This is at walking distance from Asilomar beach. We loved the cottage and facilities assigned to us. We also saw a deer outside our cottage and we were delighted y the sight. There is no pool but a small hot tub. They offer free breakfast and snacks all day. The free breakfast only has fruits and packaged stuff and nothing cooked. Overall we had a memorable stay here.
