Loved it. It was incredible. Learned allot about the culture and small bits of the language spoke with several dancers at the powwow all were very inviting and informative. Definitely worth seeing and spending some time here. Every dance is different. And there are different dances and ceremonies each day.
Large crowd and moving commentary, keeping the audience informed and engaged! There were many dancers of all ages and tribes from across the nation. It was a joy to see and experience!
Loved everything about the pow wow had an amazing time. Amazing food, singing and dancing love learning a new culture. My father got to caring a flag during the grand entrance
Shared the experience numerous times..even had eagles soaring overhead with the opening ceremony one year. Bartered with the natives and recieved kudos on my native art..a true honor.
Most meaningful Memorial Day event I've been to, especially flag ceremony.
Very Honorable Mention for Memorial Day Weekend. Serve free lunch and of course have Fry Bread tacos and much more. Vendors and many ceremonies and Dance. I go every year. Honored to visit there...They are so respectful. Listen. Learn. Enjoy the beautiful colors and dance.
This is a truly beautiful and wonderful Native American tradition held several times in a year. The dancing and the variety of music coupled with the colorful dresses, uniform designs and many added features are certainly truly amazing. This is a great way to meet and interface with Native American Tribal people who are out there to thoroughly enjoy themselves. There are many vendor options selling jewelry and beautiful handmade crafts along with multiple food outlets selling Native American cuisine. The Fry bread is definitely a must to try. Our family throughly enjoyed it and will continue to visit in the future.
Excellent 👍. I got free food and was able to purchase some items as well.... when I got off work at the casino. ;) Met some very nice people at the stands... Omg. How blessed I was as they said a prayer for my baby sister to bring her home from the nursing home soon I hope. Praise the Lord for the pow wows in black River falls Wisconsin. All I can say is thank you and wow. Keep it going... Amen. Sincerely baby Louise and Leslie ❤️
