We held a private event here and had a wonderful experience. Linda was helpful and flexible in the planning at every step. The private room was beautiful and the food was fantastic.
We haven't stayed here since before the pandemic. We come up to visit family. The room we had was quite spacious and well-appointed. The main lobby has a gas fireplace but it's not a place that really invites lounging. Staff is all very friendly.||||The bar is not to be missed, thanks to Alex, the bartender! He is friendly and charming. And skip dessert while you're out and have the warm chocolate cake and a cocktail at the bar while you chat with Alex.
Nice area on campus. Rooms are big and clean. Staff is very friendly
Very disappointing. On arrival discovered that the restaurant was closed for 2 days and breakfast was not available at all for the 3 days that I was there. |Room was not serviced, there wasn’t even any water left in the room. |I was informed this was due to severe staff shortages. |Due to the high price and the very misleading website I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. |Such a shame because the hotel has so much potential.
Very nice stay experience, thank you for the great service.
We immensely enjoyed our stay at the newly renovated Andover Inn. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed as royal guests by the Inn’s attentive staff and manager extraordinaire Brian. Thanks to Brian’s impromptu American history talk, we learned about the notable guests who visited the Inn and the illustrious history of Phillips Andover Academy. Brian also made our visit most memorable by suggesting we visit the nearby Addison Gallery. Highly recommend, the superbly managed Andover Inn.
This Inn is in a grand historic building surrounded by the lawns and trees of the school. Our room was very much in keeping with the building - spacious, with high ceilings and gabled windows, elegant furnishings and a lovely view of the grounds. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom a good size - although it could have done with more shelving for toiletries. The room was nice and quiet for sleeping.||We had two breakfasts and a dinner in the classically decorated restaurant. It felt special to have a la carte service for breakfast rather than the buffet one often gets with a hotel. All meals and service were excellent. Overall, our 3 night stay was a great experience!
Stayed one night in the queen suite. It was absolutely lovely. Best accommodations in the area.
During my stay on thanksgiving I was honored to have met lovely people that work there! From breakfast attendants to door greater! Thank you for allowing my stay enjoyable and safe! Thank for the beautiful breakfast every morning and thank you for al
We had a 300 person event at DoubleTree Andover and it was fantastic! Kerrie and her team did a great job making sure everything was in place and Gail/Amy/Linda did a great job with the breakfast. Jose did an amazing job setting up the room. We wi
Had an amazing experience here. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon at around 12 noon, and it was all packed, but the staff greeted us warmly and seated us at a tiny table. Soon after some patrons left, they offered to move us to a bigger table by the
