Great fun place! Took my 4 year old and 13 year old today, we had a lot of fun! Few things tho, they only take cards for payment no cash. There is a little playground as well to play in. Fun sand area before the water and tons of space for a crowd. We will definitely make this a regular place to go swim and play.
As summer rolled around, my family and friends were on the hunt for the perfect beach destination to unwind, have fun, and make lasting memories. We were fortunate to stumble upon Anderson Beach, and I must say, it exceeded our expectations in every way possible. What truly sets Anderson Beach apart is the abundance of tree shades that line the river edge. These natural canopies provide a respite from the sun, creating a cool and inviting atmosphere. We were able to set up our beach chairs and enjoy the day without worrying about excessive exposure to the sun. It's the perfect place to relax, read a book, or simply bask in the beauty of nature.
Beautiful space and spot for anyone to enjoy a picnic or hanging out to relax
My husband and I enjoy going to Anderson Beach on Saturday mornings. We packed up our coffee and sandwiches, sunscreen and towels and had q picnic. We usually got there by 7:30 and stayed til 9am before it got crowded. The place was so calm and peaceful! I love digging my toes in the sand and playing in the water while sipping my coffee. The sound of the water crashing onto the shore/sand area soothes me and the chirping of the birds was music to my ears. I love this place and I enjoy going here! It’s clean, has lots of trees for shades and picnic benches are available too. The only thing I don’t like is you’ll see vultures in some areas especially when the park hasn’t been cleaned up just yet. Other than that, this place is a gem! 👍🏻💛
Beautiful l perfect the park was very clean, a lot of space,. The water was clear. We will be back. We came from Cincinnati looking for a beach for pit family vacation to nashville. This was perfect.
I do love this area, but what I don't love is the bathrooms get locked around 6;10-6:15. When the sign says 7! I also don't love that when I get there early for a table, a group of 10-20 come along and take it over while I'm in the water. But the sand area is pretty clean and so is the picnic area. Beautiful views and the bottom of the swim area is not all full of rocks.
A great family beach. PERFECT for families toddlers or very little ones. There are readily available showers, restrooms, tons of picnic tables under the shade trees, a playground and of course, the beach and the beautiful Percy Priest Lake! Get there early in the morning for the best parking and picnic spots and being your sand toys!!
Great place for families with kids or people looking for a bit of nature and sun. The park isn't officially open yet, so depending on when you go you'll have a decent walk to get to the beach and the restrooms aren't open, but it is gorgeous. A couple of walking trails, plenty of picnic tables and grills, a playground for the kids, and designated swimming area with varying depths. Watch where you park, there were officers issuing citations to cars parked in the neighborhood across from the walking trail lot, but once the park opens around June 12th (hopefully!) that shouldn't be much of an issue.
WONDERFUL PARK! Great paved and not paved trails. Enough shade all around the park so walks are always nice and cool. The big loop is actually very doable with some Incline but nothing crazy. Big open area in front of the parking lot where you can b

Shelby Bottoms Nature Center Park is an absolute gem in Nashville! My wife, our daughter, and I recently had the most delightful experience there. The park is a haven for nature enthusiasts, and it offers something for everyone. The natural beauty o
Beautiful but easy trails. Minimal elevation rise makes this a great stop for kids or just casual walks with the dogs. You will get lovely views of the harpeth the back of the veterans cemetery and of course the hidden lake if you take the 1.5 mile r
Always a great experience wandering around soaking up the sights. I wish I could have caught one of the concerts by candlelight, but definitely will next time around. The lake and scenery are gorgeous, and the Parthenon is of course, just incredible!
Iron tribe is the most supportive workout environment Iâve ever been apart of. As a retired college athlete, I struggled to find a workout routine that helped me feel strong, supported, and challenged physically and mentally. I started with the 6 w
I went on a trip with Ohana and loved it! We were able to snorkel with the manatees and do 4 scuba dives. All of it was amazing. They had all the places organized, from the place we stayed to the places we dove. The people were very experienced and
I cannot speak highly enough about my experience. I just took my first dragon staff class and I really learned a-lot. The instructor had the best energy and was encouraging! The space is really great too! Looking forward to trying out some other clas
I started taking classes at Hola after I moved to Nashville in 2021 and have never looked back. The front desk staff are the most wonderful peopleâthey truly make an effort to know your name and your practice. The teachers are incredibly skilled. C
This is the BEST meal I had in Nashville. The teriyaki chicken was succulent, flavorful and extremely fresh. Seasoned to perfection. The rice was spectacular and pillowy. The fried shrimps were extremely high quality, fried perfectly and paired with
I took my dog, Lottie, to Hollywood Feed this evening. She is a rescue and takes time to warm up to new places and people. She was nervous (tail tucked, etc) as we went into the store, but I have never seen that change so quickly! The two men running
LOVE this gym!! All of the coaches work hard to ensure you are receiving helpful feedback while pushing yourself each and every session. The classes offer a lot of variety for people who arenât used to coming up with their own workout plans or who
What biscuit magic is this? As a vegetarian, I was intrigued by the idea of vegan biscuits. Combine one cup of curiosity with a cup of skepticism. Bake for 3 minutes while standing in line being served by a friendly guy behind the counter. What poppe
This was such a great place to stay! The location in downtown is fantastic. Communication was wonderful! The place was so clean and well maintained. The bedding was soft. Our loft was well stocked for kitchen things, washer dryer, etc. I loved the de
