Best park in Harrodsburg...multuple playgrounds, basketball courts, soccer & ball fields, swimming pool & even a handicap & wheelchair accessable playground in the back of park with padded grounding!!! Skate park and walking trails, buildings for rent for personal events, animals welcome! Fireworks every July 4th and year-round events!!
It weren't much of a park. I can't find a spot big enuff for mamaws trailer what's got all them maytags clamped down to it.
Hot and sad: Nearly all of the memorial signs with the trees are covered in bird wastes. Restrooms needed some maintenance. Good: Park staff in the process of mowing and getting park and aquatic center ready for summer season. Quick 2.1 mi walk around the park perimeter.
Kiddos had a ball tournament. Very clean park.
I took my grandkids to Kendyl and friends playground, an inclusive playground for all children, in the park. My granddaughter is only one so the material the playground is made of was great for her to walk on. We had a wonderful time. Until my grandson (4) saw another child walking over to a different play area. We went over there so he could have someone to play with. It was awful! Broken equipment, it didn't seem sturdy at all. There was a jagged cut out of the slide. I wouldn't let my granddaughter play on this set at all. I figure this county must be really hurting financially for parks and recreation.
Kids love the park lots to do and nice trail to run/walk.
This is a wonderful park. It’s probably the biggest park I’ve ever been to. It was very clean and not crowded at all.
Nothing but sad excuse for umps at the ball fields... you could tell they didn't want to be there and didnt receive the proper training they need to be in the field making calls. One also tried to fight our coach really sad..

Nice ice cream shop with some great lunch specials!! I had the Pulled Pork Nachos with a sweet BBQ sauce and the Mrs enjoyed the Carnita Tacos. The only improvement I would suggest is either salsa or some Nacho cheese with the side of chips the Mrs

Very nice area. Unfortunately when we were there the Fort was closed up. There is an amazing Osage orange tree there that's huge. The pioneer graveyard was interesting to walk through. This area is rich with history.
