When you walk in the door, you’re greeted halfheartedly, They give you a price in my case it was $72.80 Sir, there will be a $50 deposit for damages. OK that will be returned when you check out. I’m here to tell you they put that $50 on your card up total to 122.80 - And you will not get the $50 returned even if there is no damage or smoking in your room. I’ve stayed there Several times Loyal customer every time I travel through Indiana I will no longer be bringing my business to this place because they stole the $50 for me and instead of giving my deposit back to me and keeping my business they prefer to hang up on me and tell me I authorize them to take $122 off my card. Yes I did authorize you to take 122 with an understanding that 50 of it would be returned to me upon check out The owners are very rude and don’t care they live on site And Since they have a good location, I guess it doesn’t matter if they lose a repeat customer - I’ve always ignored the fact that the bids are horrible. The towels barely dry one person and are ripped and outdated. The room is semi clean, and the pillows should not be pillows. All of this because of it was a good location, and I thought they were honest people this is my worst experience with this hotel, but would I tell you not to stay there? Absolutely not because you’re going to anyway, but what I will tell you is check your bed for bedbugs, check the furniture for bedbugs, and because when I got into my bed there was somebody’s used tube of fixadent Inside of my bed, and my spouse broke out in hives from the little bites she had on her - But my biggest complaint is the fact that they steal the trick and say oh we’re gonna put a $50 deposit on your card and you authorize 122.80 And when you say I want my $50 back that you told me I would get back they say will you authorized 122.80 So we are not giving you the $50 OK that’s fine I will not be back and I suggest when you check out you check your $50 deposit I’m just trying to help you here. If you don’t care about the 50 bucks. OK this is your place.

DON'T STAY HERE THEY WILL TRY CHARGING YOU FOR SWEATING IN THE BED EVEN! THEY EVEN CALLED THE COPS BECAUSE I WAS MAD AT THEM FOR WANTING TO CHARGE ME $50 FOR A SPOT THAT IS WET CLAIMING ITS PEE. MY KIDS DIDNT SLEEP IN THAT BED IT WASN'T PEE.

Very dated. As you can see in the video, deadbolt lock does not work. Bring your own blankets. The ones on the bed are thread barren. Rooms appear clean. Raye is pricy for the quality of the rooms. Nice and warm on a cold night though.

We came into town unexpectedly for a family emergency and didn't realize it was the race weekend. We got in at 3am on Saturday and couldn't find a room anywhere. Everyone was either charging 400-500 a night or had no rooms available. After searching for awhile we found this little gem. It's not the most updated place but it's extremely clean. Cleaner than any Marriott or luxury hotel I've been in. You can tell they take pride in what they do. 10/10 will be staying here when we come back. Thanks y'all!!

We visit the area often and decided to try a different motel for a night. Traveling with a dog, options are limited. Anderson Chesterfield showed as pet friendly on TripAdvisor so I booked with confidence. We rolled into town late with an agenda, so discovering NO PET policy at the front desk was stressful. We made an alternate reservation and money was refunded. Could have been worse.
