Mixed Experience at Andalous Mediterranean Buffet I recently visited the Andalous Mediterranean Buffet, Richardson with high expectations for a diverse and flavorful dining experience. While some aspects met my expectations, others left me wishing for more disappointment. The selection of Mediterranean dishes was extensive, offering a variety of flavors and options. The falafel and baklava were standouts, delivering authentic tastes that transported me to the heart of the Mediterranean.However, my excitement waned when it came to the mutton/goat dishes. Unfortunately, the meat was tough and lacked the desired juiciness. This was a letdown as I had anticipated savoring succulent and well-prepared meats.The ambiance of the restaurant was not so pleasant.

The beef kabob and gyro meat tasted great and tender. The roast beef, curry chicken and chicken kabob were a bit dry and hard though. I loved their salads, so many varieties and very tasty. It’s disappointed that there was no lamb meat on the buffet stations as well as not much desserts. The service was not much. You usually help yourself to grab the plate, silverware and drink, as it’s buffet style. However, the finished plate didn’t get removed by server. We removed the finished plates by ourselves and left them on the preparation counter extended from the fountain drink station.

This is a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and positive vibes. My lady wanted Mediterranean. While visiting from Atlanta. Everything was perfect for us. We will definitely return on the next trip to Texas.8/26/23

This restaurant definitely has warm & inviting atmosphere. We came for a large family lunch New Years Day. A large selection of mediterranean salads & cuisines. Definitely one donot leave feeling guilty, but have made a wise choice of healthy food. The beef kabob, schwarma meat, chicken curry, paella rice, regular hummus, avocado, or red pepper. Baked red snapper, fish fillet, roasted chicken., baklava, Lentil soup, fresh fruits, etc. Reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I’m sorry to say this. I was super disappointed. The dining room is lovely and clean. The variety is pretty good- same as most Mediterranean places. Here’s where it goes south: There are no trays so you have to carry your plate, soup, drink, utensils, etc- so harder for more feeble folks to manage. The food is on a buffet line, but was all cold or lukewarm - like no steam or heat coming from it. By the time I sat to eat, it was all cold.. The snapper looked delicious and presented well. But it was not done, even though it was steamed - still raw inside. I wondered if was really snapper? I couldn’t eat it. The lentil soup had some flavor but was cold, the mushroom hummus had no flavor, lettuce was wilted. Rice was stuck together and also just barely lukewarm. The cauliflower and also chickpeas w eggplant were delicious, but also not fresh and hot. The kebab meatballs were a mix of cut up meat, and meatballs- as if they put some aging stuff with newer. The soda machine - horrible. No carbonation, completely flat. Also- they had the ice in a bucket on the buffet line w a plastic measuring cup you had to reach up and over and inside to get some ice for your cup. This is an unsanitary thing to have right out in the open for every guest especially w no trays - I just skipped the ice. The lady told me that was where I would have to fetch my ice. In the bucket. I feel bad to write this- but at the price, I expect far better as a consumer. I feel worse that I left the plate half full bc it was just - cold.

I love this place!!!! Great food!!!! Clean environment and great customer service!!!! The food is so beautifully displayed that it makes you want to try a little of everything it is so Delicious!!! They also have delicious treats if you would like to buy them at the register. Buffet style !!!! Can't wait to come back!!

This is a fantastic buffet! The chicken and beef kabobs are delicious. I also really like the curry chicken and the red snapper. There is plenty of room to eat. The food is always hot and fresh. The weekend buffet price is quite reasonable.
