The food was very good. Buffalo chicken dumplings were amazing. I can't wait to go back and try something else. My only problem was that the server 1) was not around enough and 2) brought me the wrong dressing for my food when I was specific with what I asked for.
This place was a cute find, I loved the space. It was lovely to sit outside. The food was pretty good but the portion size was too small for the price (in my opinion).
Servers Prosecco & mango mojito were delicious. Bbq pork bowl lacked flavor in the pork, no bbq. Was a bit disappointed in that & it took in eating our entrees to get waters
This spot always hits. The service is fantastic. Servers are personable and friendly. The wings are excellent. They were voted the best wings in Belmar after wing crawl and I agree. The burgers are fresh and juicy and always cooked properly to order. Fried fish and most of the apps are great too.
I am leaving this place with the greatest disappointment. I was not served for the simple fact of being Hispanic and alone. I was not granted the right to choose the area of the restaurant where I wanted to eat, with all its facilities open. without attention or any intention of giving me a pleasant experience. He had put them on an altar. until now.
I had my husband's 60th birthday party here and I can't express enough how wonderful everything was. Emerald, the general manager was incredible in helping me plan the evening and making sure everything ran smoothly. The food was amazing and all my guests were highly impressed. Liam the bartender went above and beyond as did the girl who helped with serving and clearing. (Sorry I can't remember her name.) I highly recommend using Anchor Tavern for any gathering or event you may want to plan in the future🎉
Great food and great service! I ordered such a complicated order (half dine-in and half to-go takeout, and I felt so bad) but my server, he was so kind, and just able to do it no problem! :) The food was really great and everyone else was so nice! Really appreciated!
Not a great night for us. Positive points: the queue was faster than expected, staff was nice and attentive, the restaurant looked nice. Negative points: long wait for the food, but it wasn’t just for us, we noticed other people waiting for a long time; the fried calamari and the fried cod (for the sandwich) were too greased
