Anaheim Discovery Inn & Suites At The Park - Hotel in Anaheim - 1126 W Katella Ave, USA

Very convenient to the park, you can walk to Downtown Disney in about 15 minutes. Room was simple, but clean. Only basic ammenities are available. No breakfast provided, but that was OK with us. They do have coffee available. Appreciated the daily maid service. The rooms are somewhat dated and need some attention. Parking is free.

We chose this primarily for its proximity to Disneyland with cost savings in mind. We were given what was advertised on the tin (having read the TripAdvisor reviews for many of the options both onsite and off): comfortable stay within walking distance (unless you find a 15 minute walk to Downtown Disney entrance excessive); clean, if simple décor and furnishings; solid sleeps; enjoyable pool; and pleasant and helpful staff.

Stayed here for 3 nights while we were at Disney and found the stay to be very enjoyable. The gentlemen at the front desk was very nice and welcoming, greeted us as soon as we entered the door and answered any questions we had. You are able to see fireworks from the property. We didn’t walk to Disney park but if needed to it was fairly close, about a 10 minute walk or so. Would defiantly stay again for our next Disney trip.

This is a small hotel right across the street from Disneyland. We checked in about 930 at night and it was a quick and easy process. The lady was nice and explained the room charges so there were no surprises. We got upgrade to a suite ( no extra charge 😊 ), which made the start to our vacation really nice! It was clean, LOVED the floors, and quiet. Chose this hotel on the rec of a friend. Would definitely stay here again!!

Check in was fast and easy. The rooms were clean with up to date decor and amenities. It was pretty close to the Honda theater about 13 mins. Had a comfortable stay, with parking right outside our room. Cannot complain about anything at all. I did not use the shower so I cannot say anything about the water pressure. Other than that, would love to stay here again, maybe next time we decide to visit Disneyland.

The rooms were no frills but clean and had all the basics, with a microwave and a fridge that was nice and cold. We got a suite with two rooms and two queen beds. The second room was a little small but adequate and had its own TV. The beds were quite comfortable! The water pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water. They said walking distance to Disneyland was 10 minutes, but it was more like 15-20 to get all the way to the esplanade. Ten minutes got you to the beginning of the Downtown Disney district. That was minor though, and we would definitely stay here again.

Location was excellent for going to Disneyland! We stayed for 3 nights, visited the parks for two days and it was fantastic being able to get back to the room quickly after 12+ hours on our feet each day. The rooms were very clean and the staff were lovely! The only downside was the floor was quite dirty in the room (almost like it had been vacuumed, but never mopped) and we had to wear shoes to move around our space. Besides that, everything was very clean! (Also the rooms have a bath, but no plugs to be able to use it)

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in a King room. It was recently renovated and updated. The bathroom was beautiful and modern. My only complaint in this particular room (maybe the double queen is bigger?) is that there is not enough counter space to share. We had to keep some bathroom items out in the room on the bar under the TV. It was doable though. Also no coffee in room but we bought a cheap travel coffee maker which solved that problem! There was also a nook with a dresser that functioned somewhat as a closet and that was a great area to have. The staff we encountered were kind and helpful. We stayed here specifically to visit the Disneyland Resort and on our first night walked to Downtown Disney. It was a very short walk which was great since where we usually stay is just as long a walk for double the price! This really seems like a hidden gem and we plan to continue staying here during our future trips (which are plenty as we are Magic Key holders). I would highly recommend a stay here!
