So glad we stopped in! Friend was visiting from out of town, needed a bite and a nice drink, and I've always loved the atmosphere and food. Had a great time, food was amazing, our bartender was awesome...and yes, the chicken fingers owned up to their title! Definitely a great start to our evening and would highly recommend. We'll certainly back!
My fiancé and I came here for traditional Irish pub food. We drove 50 minutes to try this place. We ordered the Irish nachos (they’re $6 during Friday’s happy hour). We added corned beef to it. It was good. We each ordered a shepherd’s pie. I was actually very disappointed. It was a ton of gravy. I had one piece of beef in my entire dish. And two pieces of fat chewy gristle. Tons of shallots in it. I expected it to have a lot more vegetables (such as peas and carrots) and meat and mashed potatoes. It had a very thin layer or mashed potatoes on top. Small amount of peas. No carrots. I like my shepherds pie full of veggies, meat and mashed potatoes. I think it is a hearty meal. This was mostly gravy soup with a super thin layer of mashed potatoes and a few peas. Maybe I got a bad batch. I read other shepherds pie reviews before coming here and everyone was bragging about it. I’m sad that I can’t say the same. It was $19 for one shepherds pie. What I received wasn’t worth $19 at all. However, their chocolate lava cake was good. My fiancé only ordered it because we were still hungry and disappointed in our shepherds pie. The waitress was awesome and the atmosphere was cool. Kinda medieval/skyrim vibe.
Started with a recommendation from a friend. Drove by didn’t see but 2 cars on the lot so we called to make sure they were open, nobody answered so we just went inside. It was absolutely freezing inside, the entire place was dusty, moldy, and covered in cobwebs. It really looks like they gave up years ago, like this place used to be busy years ago. The service was not great either. We were the ONLY table in the place and the waitress didn’t offer us water or bus our appetizer plates. She never checked on us or offered us refills. I had to get up and find her whenever we needed anything. Then the food came, my wife’s sandwich was actually pretty good, by my burger was an underdone sloppy mess. Would not recommend without access to a Time Machine.
Food was tasty, although I find myself regularly wishing there was some lighter lunch fare available. (Usually after eating too much...) Lunch crowd was light, so no hostess which meant a bit of an initial wait. The building is a bit chilly before the crowds show up, so bring a sweater or sit close to the fireplace.
Excellent service, superb food and a cozy atmosphere. This was our first visit and most definitely not our last. The service was excellent and believe me this place was hopping and packed! The fried brussel sprouts were so yummy. The portions are huge. I couldn't have eaten all the fish and chips even on a dare. This was the best fish too! My husband got the grilled Reuben and loved the homemade corned beef. This is a great place to have a drink, eat some excellent food, take in a football game and unwind
I love The Still. It's the best Irish fare north of Baltimore. The only competition is James Joyce IP and Mick O'Shea's in the city limits, both of which are a massive hassle to get to if you don't live / work within minutes walk. Great bar, great live music, extremely nice staff in the main restaurant. Corned Beef and Cabbage is insanely good. Only downside is how loud it gets in the restaurant on a busy night or a music night. The acoustics are little TOO good.
The food is spot on every time! The wait time never seems to be a problem either.
Liked this venue. Clearly having service issues, but nice folks. Food gets mixed reviews. Great ambiance. Live music is worth the trip. Excellent selection of beers and spirits. Can recommend.
ð¥ð¥ð¥ð¥ so far all I had was the Breakfast platter. Fried potatoes were awesome. Price is good too. I hear they have good lunch too. We will soon find out. But breakfast 10/10.
This place rocks! (Pun intended). Highly recommend booking a climbing session in advance for kids. Took my 14, 12 and 11 year old who had virtually no rock climbing experience. Tim, their guide, fitted them with shoes and harnesses and was absolutely
Family friendly park. There's a playground, a walking path, and lots of space with fields for soccer, football, lacrosse etc. You usually find kids and other groups practising and having activities. The only con is that I think this park can have ov
AF Timonium is a great small gym. Good variety of machines and plenty of space for free weight workouts. Staff member Jerrod is great. He is a one man show most of the time I have been there, but he definitely gets the job done with keeping the gym c
My Bestie and I had a phenomenal time at Bluestone. I arrived a tad earlier than my friend, and they allowed me to sit and order to my liking. I appreciated that as I was starving and ready to chow. I ordered muscles, a single crab cake with roasted
Delicious food and very generous portions (literally bursting out of the to-go boxes!). Friendly staff and it was also a very nice gesture to include a small package of German chocolates around the holiday season. Happy holidays! âï¸ðð§§ð¥ ð
Took my wife to Advanced Radiology for an afternoon appointment. Have visited other places in the shopping center previously. During this visit, the parking lot was not crowded and the facility wasn't very busy.
My son and daughter in law were at Johns Hopkins for the delivery of their baby. I was caring for their other son during the delivery. We arrived during a snow storm and we were given all of the respect due any customer even though we had a voucher f
