My boyfriend and I loved our stay. Such a cool and beautiful building. We stayed in room 109. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very nice, had a great shower and having 2 sink basins was a plus. The woman who checked us in was very friendly. We also liked all the printouts and maps of things to do in the area. We hope to come back again and try the restaurant too once that re-opens!
My wife and I spent a night in this wonderful castle, and we regret we could not stay longer. What a special place, and we took interest in the many paintings and artwork throughout this castle. The owner Nigel I believe was quite pleased with our interest and began showing us some of the highlights - especially this one picture, and we just loved the place. I would not hesitate to stay there again, and our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was also great and was easy going and helpful too. They explained that since it is a castle and cannot be modernized in certain aspects of its renovation, and made that perfectly clear, so we felt they were straight-up and honest. These dopes who posted ridiculous and nasty reviews should take a look at themselves perhaps. Anyway, thanks so much for a wonderful stay!!!
I recently toured the castle with friends. It’s very luxurious and exceptionally well kept. The dinning room is beautiful and would be a great venue for a wedding. A room upstairs has been preserved in its original state since JFK was there in 1960. What a great piece of history. We toured a four bedroom suite that included a full kitchen, dinning room and living room area. It’s close to the Thruway and shopping. I highly recommend!
A very unique hotel. Really enjoyed the castle theme. From the moment we walked in, we were astounded by the great hall. The decor was interesting and fun. The rooms were very clean and well designed for a somewhat unconventional hotel. The shower was amazing! The room had a fridge, microwave, bottled water, a coffee maker, and some snacks. It's those little touches that make this a great place to stay.
Was on the road traveling hotel to hotel for the week. I found this place on Google search. To be honest I was a little leary of the place of what to expect. I was so impressed! Very cool place! Super clean, snacks in room and the room was decorated with different paintings and signs. I've been telling everybody about this place. Definitely a top place to stop.
Our club met here for a short local getaway and absolutely loved it. Such a fun vibe - you feel transported to medieval times - but not in terms of comfort or service. The rooms are modern and comfortable and the host and staff are delightful. Plus, there are excellent restaurants within walking distance and the town center is a very quick drive away. Don’t miss this unique upstate experience!
This was a fun place to stay along the Erie Canal bike route. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious and very comfortable as well as nicely appointed. There was a garage available for bike storage. Our only disappointment was that there was no breakfast offered other than Keurig coffee and granola bars. At the current room prices, a wholesome continental breakfast should be in order.
Wasn't quite sure what this hotel would office, but WOW it was fantastic!! My granddaughter's jaw dropped to the floor when she peeked inside the outside door. Her comments on the notepad " ....it was nice, very big and lived up to it's name. It is fit for a Queen or a King!" We planned to stay only one night, but stayed 2 because of it's location and ambiance. I would highly recommend this facility. It's quiet, grand and has tons of history with pictures on the walls. Just perfect.
What a perfect little diner. Exactly what I want from an independent small place. I ordered eggs over easy and a side of corned beef hash. The waitress immediately asked if I wanted the eggs on top of the hash. Well, of course! But nobody ever asks t
The food was really good, a huge jump from when they first opened. I was actually really surprised. The service was even better, our server was friendly, attentive and the food came out quickly. The dirty thighs are delicious. I always considered thi
Arguably the cleanest pizza place in town along with great tasting wood fired pie. Crust was bite through and had great maillard reaction on the dough. The cheese had great leoparding. Chicken wings weâre also cooked great. Mild sauce made in
This bakery did an outstanding job on my wedding cake! I drew her a picture and she made it exactly as we wanted for our small wedding â complete with our requested funfetti inside! The cake was delicious and everyone really liked it. I will come b
It's really a great hidden gem. The food was outstanding. Lasagna was absolutely the best ever, and we have experienced lasagna from coast to coast. Spaghetti was simple yet elegant and not overpowered by spices or tomato flavor, just a beautiful ble

Perfect tables. Nice bar and grill food. The only thing that different was Michelob light instead of Michelob ultra. But I'm probably in the minority with that. LoL
Clean, family friendly, nice bar with reasonable prices, reasonable bowling prices too. Great fries, not good burgers. Also, the monitor displays how fast your ball was moving, which is fun!⦠but not good for your score.
