Amore e Amore is a nice dinner date night place or even an evening out with some friends. They asked if we had reservations as soon as we walked. I think this place is reservation-based on certain nights, so it’s best that you make reservations before hand. I didn’t know it was reservation-based so I told the waiter that I didn’t have one but he was able to squeeze us in luckily. They brought us our bread and garlic butter which was very nice! The food and drink was all really good and up to par. The staff in general was very attentive and I had no complaints whatsoever about the food. The biggest feedback I can give is that it’s a bit cramped since it’s not a big location. We sat on the corner where our shoulders were touching the wall with the other table being 3 feet away from us. It didn’t help that the table was very small as well. So keep that in mind if you’re uncomfortable with tight spaces. Otherwise, we had a great time!
Amore e Amore is an interesting place to say the least. It’s not often you find an Italian restaurant in a narrow cafe style layout loaded with Halloween decorations and a Harry Potter theme. We booked a few weeks ahead for a Sunday dinner. We were sat promptly and had awesome service. The menu offers the traditional Italian courses, but isn’t large. The Lobster Bisque is a must. The dinners for our party of six were solid, but not spectacular for the prices. Expect to pay over $30 for pasta that would be half of that outside of the perimeter and pretty much the same quality. The chicken parm was generous and good, but didn’t come with the usual side of pasta. We were happy, but not blown away. The lava cake was a letdown and you even had to pay extra for the scoop of ice cream on top, which is usually always included with lava cake. At $17 it’s totally not worth it. Overall the atmosphere was fun and you pay for the experience, but it’s not going to be the best Italian meal you’ve ever eaten. I still commend them on the decorations, presentation, and great service though.
My recent dining experiences at Amore e Amore (Harry Potter theme & Christmas theme) was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving me eager to share the joyous details of this hidden gem. From the moment we stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. What sets Amore e Amore apart is its commitment to creating a super fun experience. The staff, who exuded warmth and friendliness, played a pivotal role in elevating the overall atmosphere. Their attentiveness and genuine smiles added a personal touch that made the entire evening memorable. The decor at Amore e Amore is a feast for the eyes. What’s truly impressive is the ever-changing theme that breathes life into the surroundings throughout the year. The crazy-fun aesthetics create an ambiance that is not only visually stimulating but also contributes to the lively and vibrant vibe of the place. Now, let’s talk about the food – an aspect of Amore e Amore that surpassed my expectations. The portions are not just generous; they’re downright abundant. Be sure to arrive with a hearty appetite. What struck me most about Amore e Amore is that it transcends the traditional notion of a restaurant. It’s more of an experience than anything else. The seamless integration of exceptional service, playful decor, and abundant dishes creates a symphony of sensory delights. Amore e Amore is a must-try destination for anyone seeking not just a meal but an immersive journey into a world where fun, friendliness, and fantastic food converge.
Words cannot describe this experience. Imagine you're in a small little Italian spot on the side of Brooklyn and you are eating the most delicious bolognese topped pasta and having a perfect Negroni. Well, you'd be here right now with me. Gnocchi that makes your family ashamed to ever even try to mimic this dish. If you want to feel loved by food and people, you come here. A true gem of a spot in a happening area. You deserve to be here. Trust your soul.
Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! The Halloween decorations are TOO cute! Staff was friendly, we were seated quickly, food was hot, drinks were tasty. Definitely going back!
All I can say is WOW !!!! Literally mind blown with how Amazing this place is … the owner is active and present and I can see why she responds to reviews etc… if I was her , I would clap back at anything negative someone has to say …. I forgot to take pics of food because we were so busy indulging . This place is amazing and truly represents what a person who values culture and the beauty of Atlanta looks like ! 10000/10 highly recommend. We have booked our reservation for Christmas and will book for every holiday to come …. YES
The best Italian food we have had since moving to Atlanta. Great food, service , and atmosphere make this the perfect trifecta of restaurants. Cannot praise this place enough.
I’ve waited a few days to write this review to give a more clear headed and honest review. My family and I ate here over the weekend for my birthday (we made reservations MONTHS in advance since we had a large party). We let them know when we booked that we would have two children with us as they do not advertise that children are not allowed. We get to the restaurant at opening time and are immediately ‘greeted’ by the rudest waitress I’ve ever had. She seemed annoyed with our party from the moment she laid eyes on us and it didn’t let up until the VERY END of the dinner. I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant that we paid over $90 per person to eat at. I ate here many many years ago when it was under a different name and my experience was magical. Also, my sister went a few months ago and wouldn’t stop bragging about how great it was so that is why we decided to make a reservation for my birthday. However, this was by far the worst experience that I will never want to return. Please say on your website that children are NOT allowed if you are only going to make your paying customers feel completely unwelcome and uncomfortable when we bring them. (We had one 2 year old and one 3 year old that stayed in their high chairs the entire time).

Absolutely incredible dining experience with friends! There were 3 of us and we basically ordered the entire menu (we couldn't wait to dive into some dishes so we missed some photos). Highly recommend this spot - it's very cozy and everyone clearly
I was in town on business and looking for a local experience, as usual. Buon Fornello had a good rating and was in walking distance so I decided to give it a try. The business model is definitely that of a hybrid. There is minimal seating for a rest
