My GF bought me a dive experience - 2nd diving but it's been 30 years! I'm a strong swimmer and experienced with breathing apparatus as a former firefighter, so a lot was familiar/similar and easy for me to take in. Grace was my instructor - I was the o Lu one that day so we flew through the pool training. Lemme say, Grace is the bomb! Super friendly and experienced, and knowledgeable - not just about diving, but about all types of marine life; she taught me so many cool facts and information I should've taken notes to remember it all!! I highly recommend having her as your instructor. Training finished, I had a few hours to kill and she recommend several brunch places. Met back for the 12:30p launch and was advised the waves were 4-5 ft. They gave me the option of rescheduling but I was excited to go and have usually done fine on choppy waters. 30min ride out to 1st location; I did feel queasy but once in and under I was fine. I don't recommend going out for your first time in such choppy waters unless you are super confident in your abilities - swimming and strength wise as well as managing the scuba gear. Grace was with me every step of the way, but for someone who is timid in any way these co dictions would have overwhelmed you. SO - first dive was awesome... Grace pointed out so many little cools things she talked about during training that I absolutely would have missed. Got back in boat and headed to the second location. I was super queasy and told her I didn't think I could do the second but she assured me once in the water I would feel better - and she was right! This dive, we swam with a turtle, saw a big eel, and discovered a nurse shark chilling under coral rock! As we headed back I was super queasy again and per the training, yea, I vomited into my regulator. Mentally hard to do bc you want to rip it off. I was close to surface and Grace was monitoring me but didn't intervene as she saw I handled it properly. Vomited another time at surface, and then boarded. Felt decent after emptying my stomach! lol. Anyway, I highly recommend this business and Grace as an instructor. I also recommend on not trying to be macho like me and wait for less choppy conditions!! You won't regret it.

Just finished up with our 3rd trip to Amoray Dive Center and like the previous ones, an excellent trip. On this one, three of us did our Advanced Open Water and one did his Open Water. So not only is this a great place to go dive, but the quality of the instruction is phenomenal. Thanks to Captg Del Rio, Cate, Kalyn, Tess and all the others that make this our go to dive resort. For us, it is worth the trip down from Indiana to dive with Amoray!

Wow! Crew is incredible - full service from start to finish! Kalen was an incredible scuba guide and we saw such amazing sea life including - the best part - huge peaceful sharks! Boat crew and scuba staff are knowledgeable, helpful and fun! Can’t wait to go back!

I don’t even know where to begin with the level of amazing that we experienced this week with Amoray ! The resort itself is gorgeous, clean, comfortable, and centrally located. The dives (four day dives and one night) were truly outstanding with amazing captains and first mates (Thank you Captains Travis & G and a HUGE shoutout to Kalen for being so helpful, hilarious, and having great tips about the locations). In the front office every single Amoray staff member was incredibly kind so I’d run out of characters naming them all but I wish I could personally thank each and every one again. From dive information to just general conversation, it was a joy to spend time just talking with any and all of them. They went above and beyond to make our trip utter perfection. We will be forever grateful to Amoray’s staff for making a memorable trip into an even more amazing fairytale experience!

I can't rave enough about what an amazing time we had with Captain Kevin, first mate Amy, Murphy, and especially our amazing guide Lauren Z. We had such a fun dive, but the real reason I'm writing this review is because of how exceptionally kind they were. Amy lent me her boat coat when I was freezing and is also a gorgeous mermaid. Lauren took extra time to work in my buoyancy with me and Is just as kind as she is funny. Thank you for the great memories!

My 11 yr old son & I had an excellent experience with Aaron getting certified for scuba diving. The boat crew was excellent as well. Staying on site was nice & convenient. Highly recommend the experience at Amoray Dive Resort.

It was an amazing journey. A whole new world I've seen and felt. Extremely recommend to start your diving journey here. Thank to all of the crew members, you're nice and friendly. Thank you, Mr Murphy, the great instructor, for my first dive ever.

Great experience here! The staff were so incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. Didn’t do scuba diving but snorkeling was enough for us to really take in the lovely ship wreck and coral they had taken us to. Also very affordable, highly recommend!
