We enjoyed this venue. Parking was $25 even though we had purchased over $300 in tickets that should have come with parking passes. They purposely do not forward the passes on a resale
Audio was lousy and muffled for some remarkably clear vocalists. You are going to this location for the show part. If you want to hear some vocals, try the tabernacle, fox or Roxy.
I've been to a lot of concerts in the greater Atlanta area. But this is my first time at this venue. Parking was a little confusing at first. Mainly because I wasn't paying attention to the signs they had in several places directing you to various parking locations. My parking pass was included with the purchase of my ticket. I don't think I've ever had better general parking than I did here. It literally took me less than 10 minutes to walk from car to entrance of venue. The layout inside was easy to navigate. And the sound stage was awesome. I will be going back 100%. Ameris Bank Amphitheater only got 5 stars because more wasn't an option.
Saw Jelly Roll in concert. It was the best concert I have ever attended. Make sure you look at the restrictions on the website you go!! They wouldn't let our chairs in because they said there too tall. We rented the last four chairs at $4.00 apiece. Will definitely go again though, with the right size chairs lol!
This was an extremely cool venue for the Arctic Monkeys to play at! The way that the hill is built into the amphitheater is amazing and the surrounding vendors and area is also great. Beautiful location and amazing show!
On August 1st, we went to see Jinjer, Breaking Benjamin, and Disturbed. We had an amazing time! One word of advice, with VIP tickets, if they say fast pass is at a certain time, don't arrive earlier. If you do, you will have to stand and wait until the fast pass time to enter. We didn't know, so where we had to stand in line was hot and directly in the sun. Once we entered, our experience was top-notch. The food was delicious, and the mixed drinks were sublime. They also have a soda souvenir cup that you get free refills for. When it came time for the performances, all three artists were amazing. We didn't sit down the entire show. There was so much energy and hype from the bands, that it truly was an unforgettable experience. We will definitely attend another show here.
This is a great outdoor venue near downtown Alpharetta. There's lots of parking, and the area is easy to navigate. It's close to lots of restaurants for an easy bite to eat before a show. We enjoyed our lawn seats on a cool summer evening and were able to grab drinks and have a quick wait at the restrooms despite the large turnout of people. We're excited to go back next month to see a different artist.
Hozier was a show of life for my daughter Piper, her first time to this venue. I've been around it quite a few times with PHiSH. Although it feels like a maze getting in and out, B Parking was a parking garage just a short walk to the entrance which was quick and easy.
I saw Darius Rucker here in July 22. My wife and went with a group of friends. Parking is confusing. The signs on the road aren't clear and in a couple instances even contradicted each other. The parking staff were miserable and obviously not happy. Our group was happy that a large staffed golf cart managed to squeeze us all on and drop us off right at the entrance. We got there after the opening act and before the main act, so we breezed through security.
We had pit tickets, which were great. Music was obviously pretty loud there, so some may feel comfortable bringing sound-dampening ear plugs.
The view was amazing and there was plenty of room to move around if you were towards the back of the pit, which still didn't put you that far away from the front. I took these pictures from the rear of the pit.
Drinks are obviously way overpriced. The restrooms weren't extremely clean, but not worse than a typical concert venue like this. From other shows I've been to here, lawn section was typical for amphitheater venues and pretty full. A blanket would be good for sitting.
It's nice to not need to travel to Atlanta to see good shows. We usually come here a few times each year and will be coming back again.
