The room was way more than what I expected! I really liked the decor and the bed…I slept so good! Room was very clean! Front Desk and check in process was great! The hotel was quiet! Breakfast was good! They had waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy; choice of hot & cold cereals; breads for toasting; bagels; coffee with choice of flavored syrups; hot tea, etc. I didn’t get a chance to swim, but to me, pool & hot tub area was really nice! I definitely will be staying here again when visiting Republic & Springfield!

Wonderful location, in town but tucked away in the country. Good service, pricing was good for the little time we spent in room. When we arrived, you could smell the chlorine from the pool, The lobby has a nice, rustic feel. Rooms were clean and modern, closet was small for a family of 5. Beds were a bit hard but fine for a 2 night stay. Looked like they updated the sink area but not the bathroom. We enjoyed the large Pool & hot tub!

This is definitely somewhere I will stay again. A good hotel if you just need a place to sleep and shower. The room had everything I needed. Good work area, mini fridge, microwave, etc. The linens were on the poor side. But for the value, I was fine with it. The person who checked me in was on a personal phone call. They really did not acknowledge me. But, I am not much for conversation anyway. Especially late at night after a long day. They did inform me of all the essentials such as what time breakfast was served and where my room was located. Overall, this was a good experience and a convenient location.

Beautiful lobby, friendly staff. Beds are not comfortable, pillows were flat and using 2 didn’t help, sheets were either stained or dirty (we carry extra blankets & used them), breakfast was horrible (biscuits were frozen, gravy & eggs were cold, we used the microwave to heat things up but it tasted awful. Will not be staying again, willing to drive a distance for what we paid!

This hotel seems to need a lot of work to it! Seems like the foundation of the place has dropped. Inches and cracks everywhere have been repaired and noticeable in the rooms. The pool was nice and the hot tub was nice except for the concrete falling down and creating big openings in the foundation between the hot tub and the concrete. In the rooms, the wall outlet for the phone kept falling out and doesn’t seem very tidy when things are falling out the walls and ceilings look like they’re leaking. Broken tile in the shower to the lower right hand side in the room #116 that we stayed in. Sink drain cut my finger when I dropped the soap and went to go grab it. These things should definitely be repaired so people don’t hurt themselves! The smoke detector was in operable! Not safe! Everyone working there was very pleasant though, and the buffet for breakfast was nice. The back door entrance on the far side of the hotel by the Connex is broken so anyone can come in. They just have to yank the door! We particularly didn’t like that.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. The hotel was located in a very quiet area, I was actually able to get some sleep. The room was clean. My only complaint would be the pillows were flat . The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in a hotel all. It was a very good stay .

My husband and I spent $214 a night for 2 nights in the king suite (not including taxes/fees) It was a visit to see our grandchildren, spend quality time, swimming etc. Upon arrival, the area outside was clean, the lobby, our room was clean. The next evening was a complete disaster. Take our grandchildren down to swim and the hall from lobby to the pool had literal diarrhea all along the hall. Go to report it and the lady was sitting having a personal conversation on the phone. Go to the pool. The bathroom had overflowing water from toilet AND the water fountain in the pool area was full of vomit! So I went back because this is disgusting. She is still on the phone so I just point at the floor. It took 45 min for her to get the mop. Arrive home w a email “How was your stay” We shared our experience and it was basically a reply that said too bad, we will try better. I expected alot better for a $500 weekend.

Nice room, fairly priced, convenient location, fun pool room. BUT trains. We had a room on the back of the building, which is unfortunately built really close to rail road tracks. Trains ran behind the building all night long. If you are a light sleeper, maybe ask for a room on the front of the building.
