AmericInn by Wyndham Moline Airport/ Quad Cities - Featured Reviews (395)
I didn't take any pictures. Drove from Ohio to Illinois due to doctors' appointments. Got a room here for the night. Everything was clean and up to date. Was very quiet, and the staff was professional and welcoming. I would recommend this as a good place to stay while in town. The location was also close to the mall, and several other businesses were close by.
Online booking not working so they try up charging the rates to in-person. They gave online pricing but then refused use of rewards program saying already have you too many discounts(giving online price). Lady at desk rude the minute walked into lobby for first time. Pool is closed due to broken. Air in the room shuts off every few minutes and have to cycle power for it to work for few more minutes. Fridge is hotter inside then room and smells like about to catch on fire. Drain in shower bathtub plugged so stand in rising water. Had to turn toilet valve shut on to flush toilet.. NO working ice machines. The small tv works.
I knew I made a mistake booking this hotel the minute I approached the front door with is broken down rattan bench. The first sign I see is "Sorry the pool is out of commission" the sides of the sign are curled indicating it has been up for quite awhile.|I get my door key and was told the side entrance would give me easy access to my room. I check the door - it doesn't open. I return to the front desk and tell her my key doesn't work and the side door doesn't open. She rekeys my keys and comes with me to my door where we proceed to slide the card several ties in an attempt to open the door. It finally works. I'm afraid to leave as I may not get back in. We had trouble with the key all night. The desk clerk then goes over to the side door and proceeds to heave her body against the door 3 times before it opens. I went o get some ice for my cooler only to see another curled sign telling me the ice machine does not work either.|Then to top all that off when I go take a shower I find only two small hand towels and a sliver of soap that can no longer be used after one person has a shower. What a mistake booking that place. The good thing about the place - the beds, they were the typical Wyndham beds which we like. bravo on the beds.
Structure in need of lot of repairs. Pool not in use. No convenience store. Room - no toiletries, broken lamp, dirty microwave, dead bolt doesn't work, other lock broken. Breakfast coffee, creamer, sugars, milk, cereal, bread, margarine, donut holes. Toaster broken, juice machine out of order, waffle machine missing, no fruit, no yogurt. Luggage cart is inoperable. When we checked in, she continued her personal phone conversation.
Positive: Nothing Negative: This hotel was dirty, it was under construction in the pool area. Most of the walls had gib pieces of peeling paint hanging off. The room it self smelled so bad that we could not possibly stay in that room. They knew we did not stay. Negative: ""
Would give no stars if possible. Booked for 2 nights, immediately checked out after night 1. Given 1 towel for 2 queen room with 3 staying, no soap or shampoo - front desk would not provide any more towels. Very run down and dirty, walls literally crumbling in lobby and front entrance door opened only half way. Decrepit pool (non functioning) and common areas. Read all reviews before booking!!!!
Positive: Nothing Negative: One towel in room. One bar of soap no other extras. Breakfast area disgusting. Room was disgusting. End table had something on it that attracted ants. We were scared of theft. Didn¿t even take anything in. Just slept there & left Negative: ""
100 dollar deposit I was not made aware of before showing up, the first room I got the fire alarm was chirping. The desk attendant acted like he didn’t believe me and I had to make him wait in the room so he could hear the chirp for the 3 rd time. We got a different room that didn’t stink this time. Woke up and went down for breakfast only for there to be lack of one, they had Frosted Flakes and a gallon of milk, bread-no jelly, and a few donut holes. The pool was out of order and they did not have that posted online. Would not recommend and will never visit again.

I was visiting the area to look for the place my eldest son and I had planted trees along the Hennepin Canal in 1979. After riding by several other motels and not seeing anything to my satisfaction, I searched for others, thatâs how I the Wyndham.
We had our daughterâs birthday party here and it was absolutely amazing! The grounds were clean and well kept, the pool and hot tub areas were clean and easy to find. Our party room was set up so nicely with linens and cutlery. Food was fabulous!
Halloween celebration was amazing. Staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. It was so nice to see the staff actually care about guests and care about celebrating holidays. Would absolutely return any week out of the year!
