AmericInn by Wyndham Mankato Event Center - Hotel in Mankato - 240 Stadium Rd, USA

Positive: Overall, I had a great experience with the AmericInn; staff was incredibly helpful, polite,& friendly. The beds are super comfy, spacious & clean rooms & great amenities. Best hotel breakfast in Mankato. Prices were reasonable, at times over priced. Negative: I think the rooms should be vacuumed everyday and the ac unit filters were really dirty.

Bed was a little hard but was still able to sleep well enough. Breakfast was so-so (watery eggs and sausage with bread, cereal, or pancake options). Ended up going to River Rock Coffee house for breakfast, which was yummy! Location is nice if visiting campus. I did not think the price matched the room experience, but it was clean and we slept well enough.

Very first impression- friendly welcome! Walking in to a clean, spacious and warm environment was pleasant and reassuring. The fireplace area is so nice as is the food service area. Our room was very clean. Location is excellent. Breakfast was the best we have had at a hotel in a very long time. We will definitely stay here again! As a Wyndham owner, Wyndham needs to use this hotel as a standard for other Wyndham hotels! We have stayed at our share of run down Wyndham owned hotels. Take note Wyndham!

Stayed here for work for a couple months and they took great care of us. Great staff and the rooms were nice. Breakfast was good and they have cookies and hot chocolate and stuff in the lobby regularly. Also the pool and hot tub is really nice

Good spot, clean rooms, friendly employees. Perhaps too friendly. There was a guy with his ring light in the lobby having a group chat loudly. He eventually moved outdoors, which was just as annoying. This went on for hours. I don't blame the hotel or the employees, I blame the douche with the ring light. Overall, stay was good. Would stay again.

The bathrooms are always stocked and sheets clean. Spacious pool and hot tub with a gym near by, caters well to my needs. || The Al a carte snack and toilet tree stand is nice for when I don’t pack well.

This hotel is clean, very nicely designed, and comfortable. The staff are very nice, and the free breakfast options are great. We slept very well, and enjoyed our room. I was worried about being near the university, but I should not have been. The neighbourhood is very nice, and it's not too far from lots of great restaurants.

The hotel is located across the street from the Taylor Center, so the location is superb. It is a bit on the pricey side regarding the level of service. It's fine for a few days if you do not intend to stay much in the room. Breakfast is also quite fine.
