We had such a positive experience here! The room was clean and comfortable, the hot tub was a lovely temperature, the breakfast had lots of delicious options. But above all, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We will definitely come back here on our next visit!

We were impressed for the most part with AmericInn in Hill City, the room was clean and comfortable and was a good size. The location was also very good for seeing all the sites/landmarks nearby, and was near restaurants and a grocery store, as well as the main street through Hill City. The only downside to the room was trying to keep it cool. After the first night we stopped by the front desk to let them know that we couldn’t bring the room temperature down, they said that they’d send someone to take a look at it. I’m not sure if anyone came by while we were out, but the room temperature never got any better, and it stayed fairly warm during our 3 days there.

This is a fantastic place to stay it's close to the train and all the downtown events. My wife and 2 kids were with me and we loved it! Indoor pool and hot tub, free hot breakfast, great/ clean rooms, and nice people. Remy checked me in and he was awesome! I most definitely recommend staying here!!!

This was a great stay at a great price! Very clean facility. Quick check in! Breakfast had biscuits/gravy, sausage patty, scrambled eggs, pancakes, of course the normal cereals/breads. Will stay again!!

Room: I wasn't super impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms: the sheets on one bed were not clean- there was something crusty on them. I just changed them myself. It was apparent that whoever cleans doesn't pick things up to clean around/under them. Like under the coffee pot, bathroom counter (there was a rubber band from sometimes braces on it), hairdryer, etc. The shower head wasn't very clean and there's a spongy spot on the bathtub floor. Overall, it felt clean enough to not complain to staff. Beds: The beds and pillows were really comfy! I did check for bedbugs and didn't find any. Pool: Area was pretty clean with towels to use. Hot tub felt great. The pool is a little small and COLD. Breakfast: It's the same every morning, but very good! There's hot biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage, cereal, some breads and yogurt, etc. I wouldn't consider it allergy friendly so plan for that. They kept it stocked up until they closed it which was great! Common areas were clean. Staff was great and very accommodating. Great location- about half an hour to several popular attractions and a short walk to downtown. Wi-Fi. Barely heard any other guests from room. I would stay again!

Walking-distance to railroad museum, restaurants, and shops. Pretty clean except pool area had a moldy smell and AC unit in room had a filter over it that needed to be cleaned. Thankfully our 2nd floor window opened so we could get fresh air.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Very clean and a nice hot breakfast every morning. Would have enjoyed some outside areas to sit in the early morning and evenings, but nice rooms and very fluffy towels.

Perfect quiet stay, even with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally spilling over into Hill City this week. Room was well insulated blocking out heat, cold and sounds (inside or outside). Staff very friendly, free breakfast fresh and tasty. Centrally located about 20 easy minutes from Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument, and not much further to Custer and lots of buffalo. Just 2 easy walking blocks from Hillside's Mainstreet shopping strip and from the train that takes you over the hills to Keystone. Wonderful, clean, safe and comfortable hotel. Will stay here again!
