Pictures are extremely outdated. False advertisement. Pool is gross and green. One elevator works and hardly. Carpet is stained. Our room wasn't actually too bad though. Pillow cases had stains and water in bathroom didn't get hot, but they quickly fixed that. Still wouldn't recommend.

Definitely do not stay here. Photos all VERY outdated and border on false advertisement. Room itself was OKAY (despite broken door latch which made me feel EXTREMELY unsafe - luckily the chair was able to wedge under the door handle for a layer of security) and lady working was nice enough. Other than that, lobby, stairs and halls were all nasty. We didn't even look at breakfast because - ain't no way I'm trusting food made at that place. Loitering people all over, who definitely live there full time. We watched two hookers get dropped off in a van. These are just projects, honestly. Stay somewhere else or even in your car, you'd be better off.

Avoid this place. No towels, wifi, trash cans, phone, or working cable TV. Made a mistake booking this one but save yourself a bad stay and move on. Outside is the ghetto and hallways outside the hotel are the party zone. Guy laying on the floor in the hallway without a shirt on as staff walked over him.. To management: don't bother apologizing as all these bad complaints are just ignored anyway.

OK, I just read a bunch of reviews about this place and I actually feel like people are exaggerated in many cases. I have been staying here for about 3 weeks and it's honestly not that bad and I have actually stayed in several hotels that were way worse than this place. 1st of all, I will admit that I wasn't sure what to expect when we were checking in and Let me just tell you, it was way worse in my head than what I I experienced in reality. My husband and I just moved back to NC and we needed something with a reasonable weekly rate so that we are also able to save for an apartment or house. This place worked with us on the our rate as well as the deposit amount. The staff here according to other reviews is supposed to be horrible however that also has not been what I've experienced. They have been very nice and accommodating. They have helped me to figure out ways to make this work... they even allowed my step son to bring in his deep freezer and put it in the room so that he had a place to keep food for the lids. If that's not going above and beyond for your guest, what is? There are a lot of families here and the owner has even got totuors coming out to help the kids with homework and their studies at no charge. Pretty amazing service to offer at a hotel right? The room we are in is huge in comparison to many other places I've stayed... the bed is cozy and comfortable and the pillows are fantastic. Our room was clean when we checked in... there was some dust on the hardwood floors but it was very minor and by no means was anything about the room nasty. The water pressure is amazing and the water gets very hot. I will have to agree that someone the hallways could be better kept and so could the stairwells nut it could be a lot worse too. The elevator doe smake some strange noises and I believe that there may even be a ghost that haunts it but every time it's had issue the hotel owner brings in people to fix it. I swear I am really pretty hard to please when it comes to where I lay mu head and Granted this place isn't perfect... it's really not bad and they really are working hard to get everything redone here. Lastly let me say that in 3 weeks of being g here I have truly not seen a single bug anywhere. If in three weeks I haven't seen then. It's bc they are here.

Positive: It is a dump with sketchy people in and out. Loitering in the parking lot and bloody rags in the stairwell. Negative: Stayed here in November 2023 for a dog show. I checked online to make sure they allowed pet because I was back for a dog show. Pet policy still hanging at the front desk and they wouldnt allow my 2 dogs to stay march 1st. Did not stay or feel safe. Negative: ""

Positive: Price. I wanted the king-sized bed, but was told it wasn't ready. I was offered 2 queen-sized beds as my only choice. The beds were actually full-sized, not queen, and the bed skirt had hairs on it. Yuck! I was charged for the regular king bed room Negative: The elevator didn't work. We were trapped for about 5 minutes The alarm didn't get a response. The room wasn't clean. The floors were dirty. There were HAIRS on the dust ruffle. Breakfast was sad. Only carbohydrates. Breads, grits, cereal, oatmeal. Negative: ""

Get rid of everyone. Actually renovate the building and things will be much better. The staff is rude. The rooms are nice but clearly not cleaned and sanitized. They don’t look at the information on your reservation. The reservation says pay at hotel yet they try to run your card before their check in time and before you get there. The elevator been broke since last year and the other 1 holding on for dear life. It’s a hang out spot for the staff friends and family but for guest it’s a haunted house.

Positive: Location, it was easy to find and get back on the road. Desk people were helpful and friendly. I was offered a free up grade to a newly remodeled room on the 3rd floor. Hum. . . Negative: The elevators need to be fixed.I wanted to go the the 3rd floor but the 3rd floor button didn't work. After the door slowly closed and the lift creaked to the 5th floor, I reluctantly stayed on, down to the 2nd floor. I abandoned my cart and walked up. Negative: ""
