Americas Best Value Inn Torrington - Hotel in Torrington - 1548 Main St, USA

It's not a bad hotel. Nice rooms. Laundry on site. Grocery store right behind. Definitely better than all the Americas best anywhere in the country. I was surprised it was the same chain to be honest.

The saying.. Don't judge a book by its cover applies here. Check in was great. Young lady was still new but very helpful. Room was GREAT! Beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, pool was good and the most important thing to me is that the place is clean. This place was absolutely clean inside and out. I have to make trips to Torrington all the time and from now on I will be staying here.

This motel is a gem! Affordable, clean, modern rooms. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The breakfast was superb! This motel was our best stay on our entire vacation, and I highly recommend it!

the people handling this front desk are some of the best I have seen. I worked at a hotel years ago. Friendly and very accomodating. The rooms are a bit older but the bed sold me on the room, great mattresses and bedding. The train was a bit loud but i wear foam earplugs for sleep. I highly recommend this place for bike travellers as the desk host offered to let me keep my bike in the room.

Everything was great during our two night stay! Staff was very pleasant and helpful with all my questions! Rooms and building were properly/efficiently cleaned, and pool room was perfect for my kids to burn off some energy! Breakfast and complimentary coffee/cookies in the afternoon was a nice treat!

I had reservations (get it?) about my stay, because the last hotel I visited in Torrington was a very poor experience. I was very pleasantly surprised. The whole facility was very clean and well kept, the room itself was especially neat, and was visited daily by housekeeping. I always search for bed bugs when I stay in a hotel, and there was no sign of any bugs here. The breakfast was not the traditional "eggs and bacon", but was very good. Belgian waffles with real pearl sugar, bagels, microwavable breakfast burritos, cold and hot cereals, orange juice, coffee and fruit. Staff was very friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person, and were willing to accommodate all of my needs including a very late check in. All in all it was a very good experience, I will definitely be staying again on my next visit to Torrington

The service was among the best the lady working the desk is hands down one of the nicest and welcoming of em all! (I travel for work and have met alot of hotel folk.) Better breakfast the the holiday Inn! But the sheets smelled kinda funky and the bed wasn't the comfyest. The pool was cold and there was old dried corn under my bed. The price could been better but I wud stay again just cuz of the hospitality.
