Americas Best Value Inn San Clemente Beach - Hotel in San Clemente - 2002 S El Camino Real, USA

I stayed here for a few days when I was in a REAL pinch but couldn't swing more than ~$150 per night (on a weekday - *it almost doubles on the weekend*). Mark hooked a sister up and gave me a room a few hours early so I could handle things during a complicated time. I will disclose that I was raised as a bit of a princess so my standards are high but not... snooty. I will just list. Pros: - CLEAN!! - bathroom is pretty nice - good vending machine - parking - cool location - white noise effect from the 5 - impeccable service! - pillow is good. Bed is so-so but I have had a twin-sized bed for the last 3 months so I was grateful to sprawl. - gets pretty dark! Not blackout but dark. Cons: - my fridge was acting up so I had to sacrifice some cold items. but I was delivered a bougie new one pretty quickly. - tv is meh - basic cable - HVAC is loud, but i'm grateful to have it Honestly, I wouldn't bother leaving a review if it weren't for Mark! Our "concierge." He went above and beyond and listened to my crazy stressed rambling with grace. My favorite touch was when he delivered to me a little cup in which I could boil water. He's a real one.

Friendly service close to restaurants, beach is literally around the corner. Good value, reasonable price for the great location. Will definitely be back.

I stayed here 5 days for a horse show! I have disabilities and they were so helpful with helping me unload and reload my luggage! The room was clean and well maintained! The grounds were nicely kept and easy excess to the freeway! I couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay in beautiful San Clemente! I’m

Great value. I thought this would be another “budget motel” but the staff is friendly, the rooms are incredibly spacious, and there’s great restaurants and bars close by. If you need a last minute room and you’re on a budget— this is the place to come.

The location is very good. The room was clean and roomy. I do consider it to be a good value for the money. It is not the Ritz, but it is really good for the price. Best of all was the clerk. He had to call me twice because I made an error in booking and because my plane was so late in arriving. He was the nicest clerk I have ever dealt with in 100s of hotel.

Extremely clean. Very comfortable. Your own HVAC unit to regulate your room the way you like it. Several types of pillows for comfort. Front desk gentleman was very nice. Location was perfect. Visited the pool hall next-door.Will definitely stay again.

We stayed here while in town for a concert and as such the prices were much higher because of increased demand and we didn’t feel that it was the “best value.” Quite the opposite, actually. The bed isn’t comfortable and the amenities are lacking. There also isn’t a deadbolt on the door… which is a tiny thing, but always makes me feel safer. We also asked for additional sheets or blankets and got a very rude response from the person working — he made it clear that we would not be receiving another blanket. After 10 minutes he ended up bringing one by after all (acting like he was doing us a HUGE favor…good grief. It’s a blanket, dude.), but the whole thing made us uncomfortable. To add insult to injury, the person that stayed in the room before us had set an alarm for 3:30 AM, so we were woken up at 3:30 AM. Overall I’d expect this sort of quality from a no-frills budget inn, but given we spent more than $300 for the room, it was not a good experience.

I visited this place because me and my wife decided to go for a one day stay to visit Dana point. As soon as we approach the window of America's Best value inn we were greeted by Henry. He showed us the room I was impressed as it rooms for cleaned the sheets were fresh in the bathroom was very well cleaned. After the paperwork was done we were given the key. I approached Henry and the other lady in the office a couple of times they were both very helpful. Our stay here was one of best. We we have stayed in other motels too but this place and the two managers Henry and the other lady made our stay even better. We talked to the lady because we wanted to explore the area I must say she's very knowledgeable and humble and is very aware of the surrounding areas places to visit and fun stuff. I want to thank Henry and the lady for making a visit pleasant and memorable. Next time when I go I will update my review with that lady's name because it's very unfair and she should be recognized and rewarded. I want to congratulate The management of this value inn to have such beautiful people who go over and beyond to help the customers. I don't have any way to give them 10 Stars but they're very well deserve it.
