Although the outside doesn’t look very good, I took a chance having stayed at an Americas Best before. I wasn’t wrong to do so. The staff, afternoon and in the morning were pleasant. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and no complaints about the linens. I didn’t hear any noise all night. If you don’t mind mismatch furniture and a slightly scruffy exterior and love a lower price with a clean comfortable room, try Americas Best Value Inn!

Horrible experience! Booked a room for my daughter and son in law that flew into town. Someone upstairs from their room was very loud. Room smelled like Mold. Air Conditioner rattled with noise. At 2:00am someone from upstairs threw up and all landed in front of the door downstairs that my family was in. Smell came in threw the air conditioner unit. Throw up splashed up on the front of their door and in front of the sidewalk along with a used condomn. At this point my son in law went to the front window and turned the key in and explained the situation. They offered them a new room which they declined. They were told there would be no charge! Well, guess what, no refund. My CC was charged and no refund. They haven't remodled in YEARS. Mostly workers stay there which we were aware. Do NOT stay here. Gross

In all fairness, you get what you pay for, so please keep that in mind while reading this review. My husband and I needed to quickly find a place to stay in Midlothian for a work-related trip, and we opted for the cheapest hotel in the area. A lot of users who also left reviews say that the pictures are misleading, and I have to agree. We booked a king-sized bed, non-smoking room, and there were issues from the moment we stepped in. First, the main lights and some lamps did not turn on. The walls were stained, some with mold, and the furniture was extremely dated and dusty. So dusty, in fact, I decided not to use the dresser. We had to walk in our shoes or socks because the floor was so dirty. The couch provided was torn, most likely because it is old and used, so we didn't even bother sitting on it. The bathroom and sink were clean, and I appreciate how big the tub was, but when we tried taking a bath the stopper wouldn't work and the water drained quickly. For a short stay, it really could have been a lot worse. The lady working the front desk was really nice, but I wouldn't say service was exceptional. For example, one of the reasons I booked this specific hotel in the first place was because breakfast was provided. I was expecting a typical continental breakfast; eggs, bacon, maybe some yogurt. The breakfast turned out to be cereal, a shared jug of milk and orange juice, a waffle maker, and some Twinkies and other snacks in plastic bags. Again, not awful, just not what I was expecting. The worst thing I have to say about this place was the cleaning service; there is not a system in place for those, like my husband and I, who want privacy and do not like the cleaning person to come into the room while we're there. This woman tried forcing herself into our room MULTIPLE TIMES even after we said "No". She continued to try pushing the door open, which was extremely uncomfortable. Like I said at the beginning, you get what you pay for, but next time I will plan to save more money so I can stay at a nicer hotel in Midlothian.

This is literally the worst place I've ever stayed at. Do NOT waste your time or money. The room smelled old & stale, & possibly too much pine sol to mask the room odor. There was cobwebs in the corner above the door. Wallpaper torn in a few places. TV didn't work except for Spanish stations...the furniture is very dated, pictures on the wall are dated...the pics of the motel on the website are very misleading...those pics are NOT what your room actually is. The lobby itself was nasty...very cluttered, & messy. Big red flag there...there are ice buckets along the walkway by each room to catch condensation from the very old ACs ..very disappointed & not worth $100...maybe $30 or $40, that's it. The staff was nice, but that's all it has going for it. This place needs a complete renovation. Will definitely not return.

Quiet and comfortable! Needs to be updated, but not a big deal to me. The lady that checked me in was very sweet and polite. The cleaning staff knocked on the door and asked if I was checking out and I said I was closer to checkout time. They then thought they had to come back 30 minutes later and bang on the door and ask again. That’s annoying!

The customer service here is PHENOMENAL. Dave (manager) and Melissa (front desk) are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They care about their customers and their needs.

The room was ok it had this odd flower smell when you waked in. The pool was kinda cloudy the filters where not on but other then that it’s not bad for the price

Room was decently clean. Towel rack in the bathroom practically fell off the wall. Shower water pressure reminded me of summer camp. TV reception was spotty, remote control was useless. The exterior was littered with cigarette butts and trash. The motel is located next to a Wal-Mart, so prepare for traffic noise. The kicker was that when my wife and i arrived, i was informed my reserved ground floor room was given to another person who supposedly had a disability. A room specifically reserved for my wife with a 55% rated handicap disability. So, she had to deal with climbing stairs. I was informed by management at the time of reservation that i would be informed of any changes to my reservation, but that is evidently not the case here. Management on duty at check in could care less. It's an older motel in need of a face-lift and renovations. I've paid less for much nicer motels. Will not return and would not recommend for what they charge for a room.

Adorable little hole in the wall Italian spot. I'm just sad we hadn't tried it sooner. Definitely our new favorite spot in town.

Great place to see wildflowers and butterflies 🦋! The whole family had fun and we could push the stroller the whole time (only a few bumpy spots).
