Americas Best Value Inn Maumee Toledo - Featured Reviews (163)
Reading the reviews, I was worried. But I decided to risk it. Everything turned out very well: the rooms were clean, large, everything worked. There was a little smell, but this is often the c ase in hotels of this type. We were satisfied. Stopped for one night while passing through.
Positive: It was clean, no bugs. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good water pressure. Negative: The room was a little small. Not really a complaint, but the table & chairs barely fit next to the bed.
The worst customer service I ever received. The owner was very rude. And he barely speaks English. They gave me a smoking room. Instead of a non smoking room. The room smelled terrible. I would not recommend if you have kids !!!!!!
Positive: I left the room after one night of a 3 night scheduled stay. My arms and legs had bites on them and I slept on top of the blanket. The staff was horrible and showed no concern Negative: "" Negative: ""
Worst customer service on the planet. Rooms smell awful. Thanks goodness we only spent one night. I rather lose money than stay here another night. The place is super shady. Would never return.
Very clean and affordable rooms in a quiet area. The staff was very nice and accommodating! Will definitely stay here again when back in the area!
Positive: staff unfriendly Negative: Advertised continental breakfast, but NOTHING. NO COFFEE, no tv listing, even though I paid for 2 nights in advance, had to get room key reauthorized
We regularly stay at the America's Best in Woodbury Commons & hoped this would be, at least, comparable. There has clearly been repairs made to the plumbing. The patch job they did is poorly done. We were in an "accessible" room. Huge bathroom with a wide enough door for a wheelchair. Lovely. High toilet. Great. Lift bars were practically useless. One behind the toilet, none on the side. 3 in the shower, all fairly low. And the shower itself is raised. You have to step up to get in and over & down to get out. I'm just glad I don't need an accessible room. And, if you need to take a bath, the water cannot be plugged to do so. The bathroom's cleanliness was disgusting as well. I took pictures of the worst bits. Black dirt stains on the floor. The shower looked like they maybe rinsed it out between customers. They have apparently "updated" a few things. The TV was nice, but blocked the 3/4 length mirror. The "desk" was a dining table. There was also a random coffee table that we put our bags on. No armchair, just the old, stained office chair at the table. Fridge & microwave, but no coffee & they didn't have the customer lounge open at all. A/c worked fine. Bed was hard, but as clean as you can expect for $60 a night. They could use phone charging stations. More lighting would have been nice, as well. I don't think we'll be staying there again. I don't care that it's really close to family.
This is not a newer Hampton, but it was a pretty nice stay for two nights. The room is a bit small compared to newer hotel construction. The "closet" (see my pic) was a narrow space behind a curtain, but there was also metal rack-type drawers in a ca
This hotel was very nice, rooms were clean and comfortable. They had everything you would need in the room, Dove body wash, Shampoo, Conditioner, Dove hand soap and lotion....no need to Bring your own and the kitchen had it all too. The pool was ver
