Americas Best Value Inn Cedar City - Hotel in Cedar City - 333 N 1100 W, USA

I am a truck driver and they had ample room for my truck, I was able to see my truck from my room! The ladies who work here are amazing, friendly, professional and courteous. I had a great shower and the room was excellent! Best nights sleep I have had since I left home 😀 Thank you I will stay here again!!!

I recently stayed at the Americas Best Value Inn in Cedar City, Utah, and I had a very pleasant experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or needs. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a good night's sleep. The location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, offering a decent variety to start the day. Overall, a great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

This hotel is in serious disrepair. The tub water doesn't drain. I was standing in 5 inches of water before I finished my shower. The handle on the faucet is broken off. There are many other reviews talking about this, so I know it's not a new problem. Paint is peeling off the walls. The pool is closed. Even with all those problems, the room was very clean and there were no bed bugs. The tv, coffee maker, microwave, and frig all worked well. Would I stay here again? Maybe...it was a cheap nights sleep.

I stayed here one Saturday night in the spring before traveling onward to do some hiking at Bryce NP, about 80 minutes further away. ||For the benefit of all nit-pickers, here are the 'problems' I discovered. || - Landscaping needs some TLC but evidence suggested work was being done.| - I don't know if the pool will open when it's warmer. Seemed like it needs work.| - TV remote power button didn't work, but others did.| - Room carpet is old and bit dirty.| - Window sill was dirty. (People love to take pics of this area for some reason.)| - Alarm clock didn't work.| - Bedding and beds were old.| - Microwave was a little dirty.| - There were some chips out of the sink counter.| - Breakfast was toast, juice, coffee, waffles and muffins. No tea.||Now, if those things bother you, don't stay here. If you're the type of person who would open a Tripadvisor account to contribute a one-time, anger-filled rant because there were no gluten-free options on the breakfast counter or the Wifi stopped working briefly for a time or two, PLEASE spare us your indignance and go somewhere else where you'll pay considerably more.||Everything else was fine and CLEAN, unless otherwise noted: ||Staff was friendly. The bathroom seemed recently painted and laminate looked very new. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, makeup wipes and three soaps bars were provided. TV had many channels. Wifi and AC were good. There were many lights, all working. Breakfast was fine if expectations are modest. There was a coffee maker, with two regular and two decaf packets in the room. There was an older but working fridge and microwave. While old, bed was comfortable. Clientele seemed OK. Location was fairly convenient to anything you need as is the case for anywhere near the main drag in Cedar City. Price was very reasonable.

This place needs help. There were stains everywhere. Drains did not keep up with the faucets and even the most basic amenity, the TV, did not work. Probably the most disturbing thing was that there was urine on the bathmat. I'm 90% sure that the room had not been cleaned between guests but rather the beds had just been remade with the same linens. Needless to say I would have have stayed if I'd had any of my family with me. On a plus side it was quiet and nothing got stolen off of my motorcycle over night. But I will not be returning.

Positive: Was able to check out real early amd the room was decent looking and condition. Bed was huge! Negative: There was a kid in the room above that kept running and waking me up while I was trying to sleep from 8pm to midnight. Complained to hotel staff 3 times with no result.

Negative 7. Worst experience. No desk clerk, dirty rooms. 1st room had dirty toilet and the person who we had to call to work the front desk would not take 3 minutes to clean the toilet . The front desk had scribbled multiple numbers crossed off to call for help. This should have been a clue to leave but we had just driven 13 hrs and were exhausted. Second room was given to us after dinner . This room was no better but not discovered until am. Tar on bath mat, flies coming from sink and box spring’s lengthwise seam ripped and stuffing coming out.. Don’t waste your money.

My family has stayed here a few times over the years. We got in late last night and our room smelled pretty gross and moist, but we had to go straight to bed to wake up early this morning for funeral services. I noticed it's REALLY DECLINED since my stay last year, but it's cheap, so I figured "whatever"... This morning we noticed a gross film floating on top of the water in the pool so decided we would not be coming back early to swim! Upon coming back very late after visiting with family tonight I had a chance to look around, and OMG! I can't believe how bad it has gotten. There's mold in the bathroom, dirt and dust around the outside of the room like it hasnt been edge vacuumed in months, stains all over the carpet, garbage behind the furniture, the door lock is broken/missing, mold and a gross weird looking algae in the shower, the towels are smelly and stained, bed sheets are stained (i cant believe we slept in them 🤢), cobwebs hanging from ceiling and walls, something that looks like egg yolk on the ceiling, drains won't drain, the toilet is missing pieces, the floor in the laundry area is literally in pieces just laying on the floor... and that's not even the worst part! We just found a massive freaking COCKROACH!!!! It's 3 am so there's no one at the front desk to go to. If it was only the run down problems and cleanliness issues, I'd just leave and never come back... But after finding the roach, I want my money back! I'm going to have to get all of our clothes and luggage cleaned to ensure I don't bring any roaches or eggs home to my house. I'm completely disgusted and will not be able to sleep because I have the eeby jeebies so bad, and we have a long drive home tomorrow! I don't know what happened but this place did not used to be this bad.
