Roaches in my towels, one pillow, basic cable tv, no telephone in the room, smells like cigarettes. All for $140. And that’s just a single bed🤔🤬 The breakfast in the morning consist of dry bagels and croissants. No juice. Cereal with no milk. No oatmeal, but a sign letting you know where the hot water is for oatmeal😒 I would NEVER go there again!!!

NO STARS!!! This place is a dump. I would not recommend. We booked the stay for Saturday, May 4, 2024. After driving 5 hours to get in town, my family and I just wanted to check in and rest. Upon pulling into the driveway, there were a lot of cars in the parking lot, target shopping carts and three people outside selling drugs. I had to get my two kids passed the drug dealers to go inside and check in. After checking in, I went to the room while my husband and kids went to the car to gather all our belongs as we weren't gonna leave anything in our car. As I opened the door to our non smoking room, the room smelled like someone smoked five packs of cigarettes in the room. Whoever stayed in that room last also unplugged the smoke detector, the battery was ajar. I turned the light on into the bathroom and there were no towels in there at all. I went to the front desk and told the lady there and she gets me towels and an almost empty bottle to try and get the smoke smell out of the room. That didn't work. My husband and I tried to make it work by opening the window. The outside screen was broken so we closed the window, tried to lock it and barricade the window so no one could get inside. I sit on the bed and lift the covers to find yellow stains on the bed sheets and black/gray fuzzy stuff all over. I tell the kids and my husband to pack things up and found a new hotel for the night. We literally spent 15 minutes in the room and packed up our things and went to the front desk to ask for a refund and return our keys. The lady says it says right on the bottom of the receipt that after I give you the keys then there are no refunds. Well I expected the room to at least be decent but it was filthy. She tells me I can email management and see what they will say. So, we left and I booked at a different hotel (5stars) and I emailed management. I emailed management at 11:16 p.m. Saturday May 4, 2024 and on Sunday May 5, 2024 I get this from management: Good morning, We apologize to hear your experience with us. Our team is looking further into the matter and if the issues you mentioned are true then we will issue a partial refund to your account. Give us 2-3 business days to determine a resolution for you. Thank you! I left them my phone number to get someone to call me back. Now Monday May 6, 2024 I still haven't gotten a call but I will give them until Friday May 10, 2024. I am outraged at how they conduct business and I will be contacting the Department of Health and notifying of the uncleanliness of this place.

The staff was lovely, last minute had plans change so we needed up needing a later checkout. They were very accommodating and respectful! I feel like the staff/management are definitely working on making this hotel a better and safer place!

This hotel is so bad! We stayed in the dog-friendly room, it was $375 for 2 nights. The room number was 101 We relied on the Expedia reviews and should’ve checked google as well. When we first arrived, we noticed the parking lot had a lot of trash thrown around, and the parking lot surface was not finished. Staff at desk was friendly, they have you sign the receipt which also is a policy agreement and they don’t mention that once they hand you the keys, you cannot receive a refund. This isn’t something I’ve experienced at other locations. So I just accepted the keys and headed to our room. The entire place reeked of cigarettes. If you have a dog you have to walk to the other entrance of the building, the luggage carrier was falling apart. The carpet was dirty and stained. The entry way was so dirty, I saw 2 cockroaches. Our window was broken and left open. The entire room smelled of cigarettes, the chair was broken. The microwave was dirty. Water stains on the furniture. Thankfully the bedding was not stained but I felt dirty sleeping here. My skin was crawling the whole night. The showers smelled of mold the sinks were stained and outdated. Basically it feels like this building was outdated in the early 2000s and hasn’t been touched since besides the typical housekeeping chores. Breakfast lacked a lot. The entire hotel had only one waffle machine for the entire building and cereal. So there was a line. No wifi. Just stay away!!

Avoid this place at all cost. Americas Best is Americas WORST. There is a gap under the door to your hotel room that you can easily slide a cell phone through. The rooms are super small and if that isn't enough, there is a huge mirror behind your bed that looks like a two-way mirror from the 70s. If you are a female and traveling alone ...DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel has a lot of slimy characters loitering around its premises. My daughter was actually being followed by a man in the hotel which is the reason we checked her out of there immediately. There are better hotels around the Racine/Kenosha area. Do your homework before staying at this one.

This is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. Everything is dirty- the floors, lobby, the elevator, beds, bathrooms are filthy. The room smells musty and moldy and the hallway always smell like weed. There is no pool, apparently it is “under maintenance” but when we looked in the pool room it was being used as a storage area. Guest laundry is out of order, vending machine is out of order and took my money. Breakfast was a joke- the waffle maker kept tripping the breaker, leaving uncooked waffles. I got tired of constantly going up to the desk to ask staff to reset the breaker. Coffee and tea is available all day but no milk/creamer available after breakfast. The lobby trash is always overflowing. You ask for towels or linens they will give you two tiny towels and a couple of sheets. The parking lot is full of holes. This place is in serious need of an overhaul or condemned.

Deserves less than one star! Hotel was over $200 a night, and the room was EMPTY. No coffee maker. No hair dryer. Nothing one expects from any reputable hotel. Bath had huge hole in it, night stands were inaccessible, bed frame rocked and almost fell every time we moved. The fitness room was unusable and the pool was FILLED WITH OLD MATTTRESSES. When asked, inept front desk girl just kept saying they were under construction. But we weren’t told they were under construction before booking. And price was still the same. ‘Continental breakfast was milk and bagels (with no spreads) and a broken waffle maker. We reached out to the manager and she told us, and I quote, ‘we should be showing appreciation that they let us stay there instead of negativity’. My advice, avoid this place at all costs EDIT: look at you coming back all rude like you’ve never had a hospitality job before! 1) I know what a continental breakfast is, and it’s NOT stale bagels and old coffee and NOTHING else. You seem to be the one who doesn’t know how to do your job. 2) hair dryers and coffee makers aren’t on YOUR personal location website, but they ARE listed as basic amenities on your corporate website, saying all their locations have them. I will be following up with them shortly. 3) Renovations or not, YOU are the ones who put us in an UNFINISHED room that was in disrepair. Not dirty, IN DISREPAIR. You should be ashamed of yourself for even trying to defend these points. I tried the nice way of reaching out to you politely and directly. Now, I’ll make sure to google review, yelp, Facebook, and TripAdvisor your name into the ground. As well as speaking to your corporate betters.

I was only there for 1 night, but I will never book a room at this hotel again. The rooms are overpriced. When I checked in, I was given a room that wasn’t even ready. The housekeeper hadn’t finished cleaning the room, and I had to wait about 30 minutes for her to finish. There was no WiFi, no wash cloths in the bathroom, the dry off towels were dingy, the refrigerator didn’t work, no cups & no ice bucket in the room. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
