America's Best Inn Fort Lauderdale - Hotel in Fort Lauderdale - 2935 N Federal Hwy, USA

I've never felt more uncomfortable staying at a hotel. Between the A/C barely working and the trashy guests/residents, I was compelled to spend as little time in my room as possible. I don't need a 5 star experience but at the very least I need an A/C unit that can keep the room cool and my room could barely do that. Pay the extra few bucks to stay somewhere a little nicer.

The most dirty hotel I have ever been to in my whole life, the outlets without their covers, used condoms under the bed, AC didn’t work, the room lights didn’t work, I complained to the lady on the front desk and they sent someone to check the room who was really scary, that guy came to the room looking like he come to rob, beating up someone or something and not to help me because he didn’t talk and was wearing a dirty white tank-top and dirty face full of grease like he hadn’t taken a shower in a few days. Please don't stay here because I still have asthma because of the amount of dust the rooms had, the mess was immense and when I told them that I was receiving a room that was not what the l saw on their photo. They told me that the policy was not to returned the money and no matter what I told them, they did not want to give me the money. The guy didn’t do anything but just in case we went to find something to defend our self and barely sleep the whole night. I am planning to call the city and all the organizations that had to do with the permit to run this place….

Positive: The location was within walking distance to the event I was going to. The employees were pleasant enough. Negative: The people staying at this place were residents and long term renters living there full time, not traveling or area guests. The room was not ready, waited nearly 2 hours for the bed to be made. Not clean. Bugs. Bed was old and beat up. Negative: ""

Mean Italian lady refused to let me in my room until after 3:30 PM. kept chewing her gum loudly I could barely understand anything she was trying to say. Toilets had not been cleaned. It looks like someone had released a big fart bomb in the toilet🤮. my poor seven-year-old daughter was trying to watch TV as it kept flickering and going on to random TV shows. elevators, almost broke down on us and would not open. put me in the email that I would get free breakfast, refuse breakfast because they didn’t have anything for me?

UNSAFE And this was without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever seen. The rooms should have been out of order. Arrived after midnight after booking online and had no choice with hotels sold out from Miami to Pompano and got stuck paying $305 for the filthy and unsafe room with overwhelming smell of smoke, paint peeling, broken door lock and no toilet seat. When I complained to manager he could care less and refused refund or even a reduction. Room was like a crack house you’d see on TV. Couldn’t make this up. Honestly don’t stay here if it was even free. Very sketchy environment at night! Worried about car being broke into all night.

I stayed at America best and the room I was in the ac was not cold at all I went out to eat and was gone for about two hours and the room was so hot and I looked on the dresser and saw so many small baby roaches on it I will never stay there again and they charge $125 a night the room is not worth that price is should really be $79.99 or less this is the worst stay I ever had not a hotel but a motel. And the front desk worker was rude and not helpful and she act like she don’t know what roaches look like and the room smell like mold so shameful this want to be a hotel but is not even close to being a motel. And do not get the room 219 at all has micro roaches bad smell and not cool inside.

Besides the wonderful people I met at this hotel. I had a good evening. There was a couple who had an argument but to be expected from young lovers. Management quick to respond to your request for towels or familiarize area. also acted as security. It was comforting to know.

Avoid at all costs. Found multiple roaches of different types alive and dead. Left immediately and management is unreachable for a refund. Even arriving at 2am exhausted, I wouldn't sleep here for even a few hours. I'd rather sleep in my car.
