Love this slice of "Americana". Tahoe has a place for ever budget but this place is moderately priced and a real gem. Grounds are well kept and the rooms are clean and tidy. Management and staff are fully engaged. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops and the lake. Off the main road too. When we came back the following year (2024) and there was no vacancy at the inn, we were in our camper but I asked if there was a place we could overnight? They were so accommodating and worked out a solution for us. We were grateful. Thanks!
Such an awesome place for our family vacation! Kids loved the pool. We all enjoyed the breakfast. No issues with parking. Hotel staff had various activities for kids, was extremely helpful and overall ensured first class experience for us. Very close to all South Lake Tahoe has to offer. We will certainly be back!
This place has given a wonderful experience to us. Their rooms are equipped with microwave, cooking gas top, all utensils and cutlery along with a dishwasher. They have provided thought to each minor detail as to what a family will need while the hotel stay and they already fulfilled it. It is at a very convenient location near the heavenly village. Overall 5+ stars place.
Super cute hotel! Dog friendly, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. It's only a 15 minute walk to Heavenly Village, and close to so many things. The room setup is unique and very comfortable. One of the best hotel rooms we have even stayed in. We loved how homey if felt, and our dog especially loved the layout, made her feel more comfortable once she got used to it.||Only negative that we have is that there is NO Air Conditioning. There are fans to help with that. And given that Tahoe isn't hot too many days in the year, I can see why this wouldn't normally be a big deal. But in July, it was a bit warm in the room. We couldn't keep the door open because of our dog, so we had to rely on the open windows and fans when we were in the room.
This is a nice place to stay; convenient location, clean and well kept with friendly staff. We own timeshare here but there are vacancies for nightly rental, too. We have a studio unit which is small but adequate, especially if you don't plan on doing much cooking. The kitchen has a good sized refrigerator, dishwasher below the sink, two cooking burners and utensils, dishes, etc. but the area of the kitchen is quite small. There is an ice machine in the gym/laundry room and the use of laundry is free--just need to buy soap at the office. ||||Available every morning are juices, coffee, cereal, milk, donuts, hard cooked eggs, breads, jelly, peanut butter, cream cheese and fruit. Popcorn is available all day. We were allowed to refill our own water jug from the water cooler at the office. . Order in delivery is available but there are many restaurants near enough and the casinos are really close by, too. ||||
Absolutely wonderful stay will definitely be considering returning. Staff was amazing the breakfast crew made my mornings start wonderfully. The sauna was great and the pool is always a good temperature. The dinner was surprisingly delicious I'd recommend. We did tye dye shirts and that was insanely fun. I came out with a gorgeous one of a kind shirt. Overall hard recommend.
Wow. I'll say I'm impress this is a beautiful location and the room is actually exactly what is in the picture. Parking lot is packed but the pool is clean I checked in pretty late for work and the desk lady was wonderful when they couldn't find my reservation. She could tell I was tired and easily frustrated and took care of everything for me. Good thing I'll be back !
The longer we stayed here (we stayed a week) the more impressed I got. The bath tub had wonderful jacuzzi jets. At first I overlooked the pool spa. The pool spa looks so small and I didn't think it would be warm but it was warm enough for me to eventually get in the pool. I went in every day after that. The kitchen was nice and the bed was comfy. All in all a great stay. We'd like to come back.

Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
