Americana is like the neighborhood we ll would like to call home, for a season or for a year. Trees and bushes line many of the sites, birds and butterflies are regular residents, the lots are large and spread out. The facilities are aging gracefully, but are clean and well kept. The staff and managementare extremely friendly and responsive. Most of all its the people -- a mix of families and Winter Texans that make the place especially warm and inviting. During the winter months it's one of those places where people hang out on their patios in the evening or just stroll around and visit. So many of the folks that come for a short stay, end up staying longer and returning year after year. You should try it, I'm sure you will feel the same way.

Quiet, clean RV community with GREAT AMENITIES like bathrooms with showers, laundry, pool, and spa! There's also a clubhouse open to all tenants, and a lounge with not one but TWO POOL TABLES, surround sound and a great variety of movies to sit and enjoy during your stay. Super affordable rates and a friendly staff, you really can't go wrong staying here for a few days or as a winter Texan!

We were on vacation and decided to stay in your resort, best decision since deciding to take a vacation. The lady that runs the place was so helpful and attentive and always made me feel at ease. She sat with me when my husband decided to cut his foot open. She was very reassuring and i will forever be grateful

We stayed for almost a month and loved our time here! Very nice people throughout who made us feel welcomed right away. Wonderful sites with orange and grapefruit trees as well as large shade trees. Nice pool, clean bathrooms, only downside for us was that there is no wifi at your site, only in the general area, but it worked out fine anyways. This park is just beautiful even if you're not a birdwatcher :)

This place is so beautiful! Gated area with many trees and a great diversity of plants. The manager was very kind and the staff was super cool. They have a self pay laundromat and clubhouse with wifi, a small but well kept swimming pool and hot tub, and a nature and birding trail!

Great big shady spots for RVs, tents and park models. Friendly people New owners and manager are working hard to make everything even nicer. New wi fi too. Salt water pool is awesome for the summer. . Fun activities in the Winter Texan season. Clos to birding, butterfly park and lots of good places to eat.

My wife Mary and I have been Winter Texans at Americana for 6 years now. We were ready to move on and pull the plug on Americana due to the lack of maintenance and the continued demise of the park in general. Previous owner and management used a bandaid approach on everything and it showed. And then about a year ago new owners purchased the park and have already started updating infrastructure, building improvements and general park maintenance. I believe they are real go getters and see this park for what it used to be, a South Texas oasis. The new manager Beth has her head on her shoulders and is very knowledgeable and experienced in park matters. Park is full of beautiful trees and native shrubbery and has a maintained birding area. Club house has been renovated and pool excellently maintained by Richard. Mary and I are staying for now watching the improvements grow. Thank you new owners for saving this diamond in the rough. My husband and I stayed here for about 3 weeks. We absolutely loved this campground! Office staff is so friendly!! Kathy and Bill are both wonderful and very helpful. They have showers, bathrooms, and laundry on site. Also, a very nice pool that is cleaned daily. Most sites are shaded with large tree's. They have a nice walking trail and a dog park which my two dogs have enjoyed. I would definitely stay here again.
