What a perfect experience today for a lunch meeting. The host greeted me with a smile within 2 seconds. I made a comment about coming through the back door, and she replied that the back door guests are the best kind of guests. Love it! She offered seating out on the cutest little patio that was tucked away right at the curve of a creek. I felt like I had my lunch meeting sitting in the middle of the woods. The salad was delicious, service impeccable, and the company brightened my day. Highly recommend.
We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding here. The upstairs room was wonderful for our group of 25. We could visit and move around but it was cozy too. The food was just wonderful. Our guests all found something they loved. The staff was patient and happy. They made it a special evening.
We were excited to try this place. The building was gorgeous and the scenery was great! We went on a Monday at noon and stood to be seated for 11 minutes. The place wasn’t busy but after no sight of any employee and the phone ringing for 2 minutes we left. We were pretty disappointed because it looks like a great spot! Hopefully when we return it will be staffed.
A buddy and I enjoyed a fantastic lunch in the bar area. Big windows and fun decorations made such a cool atmosphere. The fish and chips I had were so good, with a huge pile of fries supporting the fish!
I would say a 4.5 review here. Great stop for food! Good parking (Hard to find in franklin). Wedge salad was almost great. they need to cut back on fried onion and increase bacon, but still recommendable for sure! Coffee was made fresh and lovely. Service was a 5 star for sure!!! This place obviously invests in good staff. Atmosphere is great, low key, spacious and good views for people watching. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Menu was tidy and very scrumptious. A little off the beaten path in downtown but worth the visit. Try a nice local beer and the fish and chips! ❤️ 💙 💜
I went to Americana Taphouse because I really wanted to experience the hard candy pop up bar. I loved the decor and it’s definitely worth visiting by yourself or with a friend. I say by yourself because I agree with the reviews that the actual pop up up bar area is very small. The entrance to the bar had a sign posted asking that people use the main entrance to be seated. I’m so glad that I went by myself. There was a lot of people but luckily I was able to grab a seat at the bar with no wait. If you’re with a party of more than 3 expect to wait an hour or longer. As far as the service it was nice but I do believe that they could use another bartender. I ordered the Snickerdoodle. The drink itself was ok. I definitely left feeling tipsy which was great. Now the toffee candy on top was AMAZING. Please get this drink simply for that. Overall my experience was good. It’s not a place that I need to return to.
The food was absolutely delicious. Several beer choices including flights. The half chicken was expertly flavored and prepared. The cornbread was the beat I've had. It came with butter and honey, but it's not needed. The live entertainment was really cool. Great atmosphere. Great service.
Yeah, burger was dry and roast veg was basically turnips. Wife’s burger was about the same. Basically had much better for 18$. Furthermore, where is the management here? Bird poop on the chairs. Lots of un-bussed tables. General lack of care in the air here. A little training would go a long way. When you’re short staffed don’t come back to the kitchen empty handed.
