Horrible! Front desk foreign lady so rude and shouts. I have traveled the world. Never been treated so harshly by such a person. She is so uncouth, no knowledge of customer service..|Has no business dealing with people . Made everyone uncomfortable just seeing her. Puts her finger in your face . Accused me of having 5 people in my room.!|Don’t stay here.,Rooms are ok but she makes stay horrible.breakfast is slice of bread or bagel. common jar of jelly and carton milk in refrigerator. No fruits. She closes off kitchen with blocking at 9:30am and strict no one can enter.! Coffee in room with old packets sugar (2) and you must hope housekeeping will clean your room as stated.. overpriced, but few of affordable places to stay. I paid 90.00 per day for almost 2 weeks. As a professional and senior citizen, please don’t stay in this place if she visits there. Most unfriendly person who spoiled my golf games and my sons wedding. If I could rate would be minus all numbers. Someone should teach her manners else this place will continue with bad reviews

Where do I start?! The carpet looks like the 1950's. The TV was small for the size room. It took forever to get hot water. There was hair in the tub, on the floor and behind the sink faucet. The cleaning crew needs to do better!! There was only 1 roll of toilet paper even though we stayed for 3 nights so make sure you have your own supply. Towels looked like they had been through a rough time (holes, yellowed and thin) Bring your own towels and wash towels. Shower curtain was old. No hooks to hang up wet towels. Bring your own pillows! One bedside lamp had no lightbulb. There was a chain to secure the door. Had to use a towel to cover the huge gap that the door had to keep bugs out. And the cherry on top was having someone from the motel hurriedly get my attention to inform me that I couldn't park my husband's truck in the handicap spot. I told her that he is a partially disabled vet with PD tags to which she said she didn't see the placard hanging from the rear view mirror. I informed her that one was not needed but that his tags show his right to park there. Now mind you that the parking lot was pretty much empty and there was a vehicle one spot over with all 4 tires flat and another vehicle taking up 2 spots across the lot. Would definitely not recommend this place. One last thing...on checking out no one was in the office! They had every rooms bill taped to the counter. My husband saw the room number and flipped it over and saw the final bill. Smh....they need to do better.

Had a tough time checking in when a family member booked for us online. Next day we came back to our room and our heat had been turned off, our things had been moved and our pillows we bring with us were removed from the bed and put in our suitcase, which was closed. ||||The toilet water was turned off when we got to our room and the smoke alarm has the battery pulled out to save batteries. ||||I do not care for people touching my clothes and pillows and I certainly don’t care for paying for a room only to have people come in our room to turn our heat off. We have a baby and did I mention I paid for the room? I have never been one to leave lights on and tv on but I’m really burnt up about them turning the heat off and moving our things. ||||Their “policy” states they check the room every day for towels. But they really just go in to make sure lights and heat are turned off.||||Will not be staying here again and do not recommend if you want to be treated like a customer.

They go into room to turn off AC, don't give out new towels, day shift, are just rude, dirty hotel. Don't be fooled by the outside. Thin sheet, top blankets are NEVER washed. Don't stay here. Dated filthy, TV remote broken, change prices on you etc etc the list goes on

Basic place to stay. I would rate along side days inn. Price is okay. Staff is friendly but the rooms are small. And they have a horrible design when it comes to colors of their rooms. I wouldn't recommend if you were on a budget. I say days inn is actually a better choice then this. I feel like the best way to describe this place is "Okay". Not great. Not terrible. But you won't remember your stay. And if you do remember your stay, its for the wrong reasons. I'd stay here if it was last second and all the good hotels from lenoir to hickory were taken. Atleast days inn has better choice in color when it comes to rooms.

This place was okay, but as soon as I stepped into the lobby the lady at the desk yelled at me because I flicked a cigarette at her. I absolutely did not. I've never smoked cigarettes. I reserved a non smoking room and she made me switch because of this. WHEN AGAIN I DO NOT NOR HAVE I EVER SMOKED CIGARETTES. Then through my stay she kept having staff come knock on my door as if I had been causing problems. When I didn't. So. Not worth the $81 that I spent on the room.

It's an older facility that does show it's age here and there....the chairs & table are a little loose and there's cigarette brown marks on the bath counter...but overall our room is very nice!<br/>It's clean and comfortable and my wife can walk barefoot on the carpet without feeling like she needs to leave her shoes on! <br/>Our bathroom was spotless and appears to be updated.<br/>The price is right and it's pet friendly so we give it 5 stars! We've even booked a room for next week!

Not thrilled and will not be returning here. We originally called about 10:30 am to ask about an early check in. We actually just wanted to drop some items of and come back later. I assume it was the owner who answered? Could not understand at all and he just hung up on us. The Front desk asked repetitively about our reservation number. We explained multiple times that we had no reservation number after reserving online. We never received a confirmation email. The attendant has a sign that she was trying to show us and was saying something about we don't do online reservations? We do them through the printer? I honestly have no clue what she was rambling on about? We are both Hospitality Professionals and this was beyond anything we have ever encountered. We stood outside about 20 minutes trying to explain and walk through what we experienced online. After finally getting the room, we discovered mold in the bathroom and asked to be moved to another room. We got the other room but it was not that great. The toilet seat is falling apart, the toilet was not very clean either. The microwave was dirty and to top it off, no matter what we tried, we only got 1 channel to come on the tv. If you seek shelter, basic amenities and don't mind standing around for 20 minutes wondering what the heck is going on then this is the place to be.
