A five star review from somebody who has traveled over 1600 miles from Chicago if you have the time. I’ve been here for two days helping my father move into college, this journey, for very personal reasons has been difficult, we had traveled from Arizona all the way to Boulder This hotel is open 24 hours with fantastic security The management personally helped us move rooms when there was an issue, and even carried our bags, BILL was an absolute delight! If you need somewhere to stay near everything and affordable rate , also Elvis stayed here. Stay at American motel. Again, Bill, thank you so much for everything.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY No working pool. Our property got stolen by house keeping and the manager Sandy could care less. They had roaches. Only 1 1/2 out of 5 outlets worked. Mini fridge and microwave. The best part was the tub being cast iron and HUGE.

Never clean linens there was makeup on one of the pillows that looked like a face there was a phone under the bed and a ice bucket holding up the bed no water pressure in the showers and some rooms showers don't drain properly

I cannot stress enough how absolutely DISGUSTING this motel is. My wife and I were trying to stay in the area on a budget, and thought this would be good enough. Anything that could have gone wrong happened. Lost our reservation, took over 20 minutes to check in, get to our room which reeked of cigarettes and weed, noticed our bed had stains on all the blankets and pillows, bathroom had mold in every corner and wasn’t even cleaned properly with towels on the floors, and some sort of grease/shampoo on the counters? Dropped our keys off immediately, and were promised a refund, still nothing to come. Place needs to be torn down.

The room was nasty hallway smelt like cigarettes. Bed had holes in it,wifi sucked, tv didnt work. The picture frame fell out of nowhere. People from the front desk were nice until night time. Area look horrible.

At first glance, you wouldn't want to stay here. Thing is, I am glad I did. They have a lot of 1970 decore, and I think they should lean into that when they do a remodel. The desk clerk who checked me in was a charming lady. Any of the staff I interacted with were nice.

We asked for a different room 2 times. The first "Non-smoking" room smelled horrible like cigarrette. Not good for children, or anyone really. The 2nd room was dirty, dirt and crumbs on the beds, clothes tags on the floor and dirt everywhere.... and it was after housekeeping went through. The 3rd room was still messed up from the previous nights guests, but at least smelled better. BIGGEST PROBLEM: we stated that we had 2 adults and 2 children, but only got 2 towels. When I asked the night clerk for a couple more, we were told "no.towels until morning because it is policy only to give 2 towels." Later that morning, I asked for towels and he said "check out only." But after I insisted, he gave me 2 more towels. How can a 2 towel limit apply to a room with 4-5 guests? Not worth the price, not even for this area.

The American Inn is a spacious place especially if your interested in longer stays or even find yourself in-between living situations and are seeking a budget option that doesn't really interfere with the guests and their activities... AMERICAN INN IS THE PLACE! The rooms have walk out balconies and a surprisingly good view of the mountain range, as well as a great staff and a parking lot that is very well patrolled both day and night. Located next to a large variety of essentials including a Target, several restaurants that are quite convenient regardless of weather you own transportation, seeking delivery and even handful of everyday favorites located within a short 5-8 minute walk (tops). As if it needed to be better their check out time is 1 pm.Their rooms themselves are not only spacious like previously mentioned but include a mini fridge and microwave further adding to your ability to save some money. The rooms are not super luxurious but do have a modern TV, seating other than the bed, a table and bathrooms with tubs that you can actually move around in. So if you need a place in the area I wouldn't go anywhere else personally and I'll bet if your seeking similar accommodations this will become a favorite of yours as well.
