American Inn Motel - Motel in Royse City - 300 I-30 Frontage Rd, USA

I had a wonderful! Little get away in this safe and quiet hotel. Budget friendly! Although, some rooms have a flat pillow! But just like most hotels getting the better room is a hit and miss. We stayed 2 nights and the 2nd night we changed rooms and then we got fluffy pillows and nice bathrooms.

Not somewhere I would choose first due to age. Updates made were good but still has a ways to go. Make sure to bring ear plugs if you decide to stay - the freeway outside is super loud. So thankful though that they had availability at 3am and were less than half the price of the week known hotel across the street!

Saying this place is dirty and poorly maintained is an understatement. The only reason they even painted the darn place was because of a fire. Even so, all of the railings and stairs are rusting, doors at the back of the building have been blocked and sealed up like they've been condemned. There's so much road noise that I can't believe people can even sleep at this place.

I was a bit nervous about sleeping on the bed, I laid (my personal clean towels) down over the blankets and pillows to get a few hours sleep before getting back on the interstate headed back to michigan. I did this because I didn't want to worry about what I was coming in contact with, (bed bugs, grimy nasties from the last ppl on it etc...) look at photos, I wanted to take a hot bath, (not a chance, sink was covered in grime and hair, bathtub needed multiple towels laid on as standing mats. "Reminds one of needing to keep on jail house flip flops to take a shower" if youve not been to jail, this might go over your head and below your shoulders..... Ie: (it won't make sense to you) but I'll finish this up, it's rough dead spiders and bugs hanging in cob webs as you see in pics. Last thoughts 💭.... It's rough for a single guy just needing few hours sleep, so one might think twice before bringing a lady friend especially if ones hoping for a special encounter. As she won't be to excited when she sees what she's in for. And.... That's all she wrote folks.

0 tolerance no pets allowed whatsoever, including service animals. Other than that, prices are phenomenal As well as the employees once you get to know them they treat you like family this is an excellent place to crash if you're low on funds. Ps. There is little to no wifi reception in Room 107

Would never stay here but if you plan to, this motel houses about 1/4 of the registered sex offenders in Royse City

It was down right pitiful. The stay wasn’t long at all. It really should be condemned or they should try fixing at least one room at a time. No sweepers under the door so if you can hear the highway with no problem you know it’s full uninvited visitors. Spider webs and spiders and roaches in the tub. The manager stated that I could’ve knocked the spider webs down myself. Evidently the spider lives there I don’t. She didn’t realize she said she inspected the room. I started laughing and said this chick is delusional. Prime location just wrong management team.

There was a bubble gum stuck on the nightstand. There was a dirty washrag on the floor by the bed. The towels did not smell like they were clean. The sheets wasn’t clean, and the carpets was not vacuume
