American Inn Cleburne - Motel in Cleburne - 1836 N Main St, USA

Experience at first was great, the lady who received us first was really nice and welcoming. On the last day there was this guy very rude. No sort of respect when talking face to face and trying to understand people's thoughts. Wouldn't recommend after that experience. Also be mindful of the cleaning clerks they're really gossipy.

BED BUGS, Awful experience. Sure the rooms are cheap but I got BED BUGS right off the bat and the ceiling is falling apart, half the lights work, disgusting chairs if any (first room didn’t have on) and they do not change sheets or the comforter the comforter was absolutely vile. Pay your 80 bucks a night so that way you can have bed bugs!

I really liked the desk clerk he was awesome, but when we gotten to our room it smelled heavy of curry and feet. Not only that after we had checked out my wife and I were itching the entire trip, come to find put we had gotten bed bugs from this place. Since then we only stay at places priced above what nasty ppl could afford. Fml

This place is amazing if you was to be kept up all night form the others coming and going non stop. Drug activity is high in this location also. Room is very large but with everything going on its not worth it.

Guy at front desk was the rudest I've ever dealt with. Definitely will not recommend to anyone.

The outside may not look great but this is a great motel. The rooms are huge, paint is fresh, everything is really clean. Nice size flat screen, great channel selection. I travel alot with my job and stay in alot of motels in this price range, this one ranks right up at the top. I never use one but one might see the fact they have no pool as a downside.

My husband and his friend were in town for the Spartan Race. They needed a clean and comfortable place to stay for a couple nights. The American Inn was perfect for them. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. They would definitely recommend this hotel. It doesn't look like all that much on the outside, but the rooms are great. It is obviously an older hotel, but they are working hard to keep it up to date. Free wifi. The breakfast is very minimal. The only items offered when they were there was cereal and biscuits and gravy. ||If you are looking for a place to eat while you are in Cleburne, they highly recommend Joe's Pizza.

Usually try to stick to the bigger chains, but we were left hanging by a Cleburne Manufacturer and wanted to stay close. We asked to see a room and the owner was MORE than happy to show us one. The room was clean, recently updated and HUGE. We ended up staying and were VERY pleased. I will warn you that it is owned by people of "middle eastern" decent, but the property does not fall in to the stereotypical foreign owned places. VERY friendly people and a clean comfy room. What more can you ask for. Give them a try. I think that even if you are somewhat picky, you will not be sorry. Oh, and good wi fi!!!!!!
