American Inn & Suites LAX - Motel in Inglewood - 11025 S Prairie Ave, USA

We stayed at this place due to its proximity to the stadium nearby. The staff and cleaning crew were pleasant, everything else was terrible. I was not familiar with the area, but still booked based on the 7.5 star rating. I do not understand how they got this rating. The staircase going to the 2nd floor had a strong smell of urine and cigarette. The room was spacious but smelly. The only dining chair was a broken office chair with old stains on it. The day we arrived we witnessed a family fighting and screaming with their room door open. A staff member intervened to make them stop. At night, when we came back from picking up someone from a concert at the nearby stadium, a US Marshall raid was taking place. There were multiple unmarked vehicles with officers carrying big guns. They arrested the people close to our room, so we had to wait for a while in the parking lot for the raid to end. Needless to say we got out of there as soon as we were able to in the morning. This should be a $20/night place, so don't be fooled by how close it is to the stadium and the fake star rating.

Door did not secure. placed a chair under knob but still felt unsafe. Room was shabby (to say the least). The one bar of soap had been used and wrapped back up. Shower was unusable. No sound proofing and the banging that sounded like a dumpster banged every 15-20 minutes 24/7. Neighborhood was unsafe (syringes, used condoms and liquor bottles) and it was a 4 block walk to a gas station for coffee. Booked through Expedia (for 10 days) but could only stand it one night. Found another (much nicer) and ended up paying for 2 rooms. Was afraid to return to check out and retrieve my stuff. Wouldn’t recommend to a homeless man.

Great Value, very kind service, and no surprises. Everything was as expected. Pretty recent renovations, a very comfortable mattress, and endless hot water. I would confidently recommend this motel to friends; I will definitely stay here again.

Clean, quiet and comfortable, seemed very safe. The room was a good size. I found the bed comfortable. The staff was friendly. Let me just leave the key card in the room because I had an early flight. You will need 2 quarters if you want ice.

This certainly was an inexpensive space to store my belongings while I went to a music event in Inglewood. Staff were nice enough & the place was at least clean, so it's a shame the bed was stiff as plywood and the microwave didn't work. Also the gap in the doorframe and windows is such that you'll hear the symphony of jets & loud cars all night long.
