I started AGI a couple of years ago and now I can see myself realizing my dream as a real Gunsmith. It's not easy at first, but it's worth it. This isn't a spoon fed adult day care like my previous years in college, it helps to be a self starter. My only regret is that I waited this long to get the pro course and now I can see myself not hoping but knowing it will happen.
The knowledge passed through this program is unmatched and without a doubt worth every penny. My only criticism if i did deep is some videos are dated in quality of picture and sound but with Bob's passing i don't feel there is any way to get it better. His delivery method can not be reproduced. AGI did great work in preserving his work for others to benefit from.
Could not be more happy with my decision to go with AGI for my education as advanced master gunsmith course. Following along with course suggestions, I started to make money earlier than expected even just after starting and after acquiring my FFL following the advise from Gene, have had many more options open up and my gunsmithing career can only keep going up from where I am at. Do not hesitate to go with them, it is a mistake and you are loosing potential income.
Hello, my name is Mike, I have had the opportunity to look at materials from a few different gunsmithing courses and the AGI course is by far the best that I have experienced with the professional gunsmiths doing the videos. The classrooms the in-depth gunsmithing of certain firearms is just amazing and this is by far the best course to get to become a professional gunsmith. I have enjoyed very much. The candor of some of the instructors in the course. It does make everything enjoyable. It helps you learn because you take away the certain things and the experiences of those instructors and you can apply them yourself and it is just been a wonderful experience taking the professional gunsmithing course with AGI
There isn't a better school out there. Opened my shop about 6 months ago after completing my Master Gunsmith. Since then I earned my Appraiser Certificate. Business is steadily growing as both a gunsmith and an appraiser. Going to send my son-in-law through the masters course. Am currently the gunsmith for a police department an indoor gun range. Have had over 100 firearms come into the shop and all were different models, rifles, pistols, shotguns, and haven't had a problem diagnosing, repairing, disassembly for reassembly of any of them, thanks to the education received from AGI. The only regret is not pulling the trigger and taking these courses earlier. Planning on taking more courses in the near future to enhance my portfolio.
God bless Bob and all of his wisdom!! Rest easy. Thank you for such quality and indepth learning through the online program. We will be the threads to stitch back together our republic.
I have always been interested in guns. Finding AGI has been a fantastic school fir me. The classes are very impressive and detailed.
I've been enrolled in the AGI Professional Gunsmithing Level 2 program for over a year. The program is excellent. Tuition includes first year of membership in the Gunsmithing Club of America, which is an impressive student and active gunsmith resource. My student coordinator, Chris, checks in on me at least quarterly, and no communication - whether question about a training video, a project I am working on, how to get my FFL, anything - hangs out there for more than a few hours to maybe a day.
Quality of video instruction, live interaction, blogs and vlogs is excellent. This program teaches the tried and true Design-Function-Repair approach so you understand how the firearm is designed, how it is supposed to function, and how to avoid modifying a firearm in a manner that makes it unsafe. My program also includes some live, on-campus courses.
I have obtained a business license, my FFL, and started a home business (helped greatly by AGI!) and am taking on projects. I have a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering (not necessary for gunsmithing!) and I have 5+ years of experience as a professional trainer for high-end CAD and IT software applications. I know what good instruction looks like. AGI is the real deal. Highly recommended.
Absolutely beautiful. The rooms were gorgeous and remodeled. It was quiet and cozy. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was amazing & we loved the heated floors! The housekeepers tidied for us and did a fantastic job of it. The breakfast was fresh
