She was so patient with me plus she was super helpful and knew the answers to the millions of questions I had. She was a pleasure to deal with. The customer service at this store was superb. I’ve been to several stores in Portage,In and Illinois and this was by far the most welcoming store of them all. I called and spoke with Demetrius before coming. He was so pleasant and took his time answering my questions and addressed my concerns. When we arrived to the store we met Angela who was just as wonderful. She took her time to assist us and explain everything thoroughly. She made the entire process a breeze. She was very knowledgeable about the products we were searching for. During this visit we also met the manager who Al was also helpful and very friendly. Overall the experience was wonderful. Great store with good people. I’m so happy we made the commute and didn’t give up on American freight based off the previous experience we had from other stores.

I had a great experience at American freight considering i didn’t realize I had one right down the street from me since i just moved to a new town. I needed a dishwasher for my new place. I was familiar with the previous name Sears outlet but I didn’t know this was now American freight. I knew that the appliances may have a dent, scratch or damage but for the price it was worth it. I picked on of the dishwashers where you could barely see the dent due to that part being enclosed inside of the cabinet . I couldn’t believe the price was only 300 dollars I’m grateful i found this place and after many years of no dishwasher I finally have one. My kids are so excited they don’t have to hand wash them any more. Not to forget the staff was very friendly and helpful the lady Angela i think that was her name was very sweet and the gentleman that loaded it into my daughter’s SUV sorry don’t know his name but was nice and got it in the car quickly by himself. I would definitely go back and refer friends and family there.

Purchased a new freezer. Angela greeted us at the entrance of the store and was extremely helpful & pleasant throughout our visit & shopping experience. Even had a little hiccup with appliance after getting home & Angela helped without hesitation when calling the store about problem. She even called back the following day to follow-up. She went beyond normal customer service. Will definitely purchase from this store again.
