If you're even thinking about a bed and breakfast in Fernandina Beach or Amelia Island, you absolutely MUST choose The Williams House! Veronica is the perfect host, and the place is pristine! Her passion for hosting is evident in every detail, from her attentiveness to guests to the incredible breakfast she serves. The breakfast is out of this world—so well thought out, nutritious, delicious, and filling.
I opted for a package that included a picnic for my wife and me, and Veronica's picnic basket was just delightful and so thoughtful. We were also lucky to meet some fantastic fellow guests.
The location couldn't be better—just a short stroll from everything you want to do in the downtown district. For anything further away, there are four bikes available on-site if you fancy a ride. Communication with Veronica was fantastic and effortless. If I could give 100 stars, I would! I can't wait to go back!
My husband and I booked an impromptu weekend getaway and by chance was recommended Amelia Island Williams House. Neither of us ever stayed in a B&B, but our love for history and Victorian architecture encouraged us to try something new. We are so happy we did! The Williams House is a beautiful testament to the rich history of Amelia Island, a shining gem meticulously curated by innkeeper Veronica. From our beautiful room, gorgeous grounds, and gourmet breakfasts, everything about our stay was top-notch. We booked a few extras and had a great time eating at a recommended restaurant, taking a boat tour, and going on a picnic packed and planned by Veronica. An added bonus is everything was about a 10-15 minute walk from our room! We can't recommend Williams House, Veronica, and the staff enough. We can't wait to return!
We stayed at the Williams House to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. It is a beautiful, historic home that is close to many shops and restaurants. Veronica is so welcoming and goes above and beyond to make your stay so memorable. She is an amazing hostess. Her attention to details is incredible and the breakfast that she serves each day is outstanding. Our room was so clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend and we can't wait to go back!
The Williams house is truly an experience. I am newly wed, and my wife and I spent three nights here it was a magical time. Veronica and the rest of the staff make you feel at home. The breakfast every morning was phenomenal, and she was able to accommodate my gluten allergy. The location is .5 mile or less from all of the great shopping and food spots. Highly recommend staying in Amelia Island and booking with The Williams House, especially in the Catherine’s Room!!!
We had the BEST anniversary weekend. We could walk to just about everywhere and yet the B&B location is in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was so yummy with beautiful presentation. Veronica is the ultimate hostess ...welcoming and responsive to any request. And this has to be the cleanest place we've ever stayed. Topped our expectations!
We recently had the pleasure of staying five nights at the beautiful historic Williams House on Amelia Island. What a treat to enjoy delicious breakfasts with exquisite service and presentation. The staff is exceptional. Veronica is the owner and ultimate hostess. From dining and activity recommendations, to loaner beach chairs and umbrellas or bicycles, and evening wine, all the special touches that make your trip relaxing and enjoyable have been carefully considered. We enjoyed Smugglers Cove with its lovely porch and daybed for relaxing with a glass of wine, but the entire property is beautiful.
This was my first visit to Amelia Island and I wanted the bed and breakfast experience. I loved the Williams House. The inn is historic, beautiful, clean and well maintained. Owner Veronica Byrnes is the ultimate hostess, extremely organized and attentive. I did not want for anything and thoroughly enjoyed my room (Chloe’s Garden) and my entire stay. Veronica’s breakfasts were delicious, creative, and I did5 need lunch! The inn is just a few blocks from the Fernandina Beach shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this B&B and will definitely stay there again!
A thoughtfully designed experience. Artisanal breakfasts. Comfort abounds throughout rooms and gathering spaces. A pleasant walk to a variety of sensational dining experiences. Ample, quick parking. A present but intuitive innkeeper ensures each guest’s balance of privacy to social preferences is achieved. If the island calls me back, I look forward to another memorable experience! Perfection :)

So beautiful & peaceful! Plenty of parking, very clean! The boardwalk is the nicest one Iâve ever seen. Well lit. We loved exploring around all of the tide pools. Lots of sea life: giant horseshoe crab, many different species of fish, lots of birds
