I meant to add more to this review, so here goes: The staff were INCREDIBLE. Kind and very knowledgeable about every single thing in the museum. There is plenty to do and see. Lots of interactive displays. Incredible amounts of information to be found. I loved seeing all of the pictures and being able to read about Amelia from her childhood years into her piloting years. We did not end up getting to do the VR flight simulator because it was late in the day and the line for the simulator was a bit daunting for me, as I have anxiety issues. The staff absolutely welcomed us to stay and still do the experience, but I chose not to for my own reasons. I have plans to go back and try it out on a different day in the future though, because that sounds so cool! My wife and I had a great time! We can't wait to visit again soon!
We all enjoyed the visit, and the staff was extraordinary. Especially liked all the interactive displays and the Amelia flight simulator. Would like to see Jerri Cobb, the greatest modern-day aviatrix, added to your women aviator memory board. Highly recommend visiting this wonderful museum.
Very cool and lots to touch! My 2 year old could have spent all day running around and playing my 9 month old thought it was fine 🤣. The people were very kind and knew so much! Also they sell like a space skittle and we had so much fun eating those on the way home as a side note 🤣
The activity of flying a plane simulator was fun. There were great activities for young people but not so much for adults. The history of Amelia was good and seeing the replica of the Electra and Amelia's statue was great! An 3njoyable time.
Very fun and interactive—great for kids, too. We did the virtual reality flight and it was so much fun. Go visit! ✈️💕
This was an incredible up to date, fun, interactive and immersive experience for all ages. There is so much to do the time will fly by. I highly recommend doing the VR experience as part of your visit. The staff were all great and I didn't encounter a single person who didn't seem like they loved their job. Make this a day trip or add it as a stop if you're traveling through the area. Your family will love it.
Excellent museum with many neat interactive exhibits. Very inspirational. The VR experience was fun too! Museum staff were very knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there, answering questions, and sharing their knowledge. Highly recommend visiting this gem.
Fantastic experience. Such a great runway to fly into and enjoy the museum. Easy trip down town to great restaurants and deli. Stop by the riverside and Paolucci

We can not say enough good things about this place. Inside the museum is a wide range of exhibits in a building that has seen remodeling/refreshing in the last several years. The local tourist office is here and
I must say it was a beautiful walk and drive along the Missouri River. I enjoyed the history and beautiful photo ops. Although the weather was a little chilly it was nice being that we are from Southern Arizona and I imagined the 94 degree weather fa
Rustic vibe in this local coffee/cafe. Pastries, baked goods, specialty drinks, beer, wine, BREAKFAST BURRITOS! They kinda have a mix of everything. Cool atmosphere and welcoming spirit here.
I will always be grateful to Jenny on 12/5 who went out of her way to recognize that a blanket in the lost-and-found was the beloved blanket of our son. He's had it since he was a newborn and we didn't even consider that we had left it in the lobby
Another little hidden gem in our little neighboring town of Atchison, KS. Family-friendly, and 3 of us ate, ( 2 tween boys) for under $60.00. Came in after a late afternoon movie and dinner time was clearing out. The staff looked exhausted but carri
